I tried some above. During any scene the "actors" just stand there naked with any scene. Here is my FNIS log.

Update: I did the file check on FNIS and it says it's missing all the animations yet it sees SexLab.... I tried stuff and yet it doesn't work.

I've looked all over to fix this issues, but still sexlab seems to be installed fine but the animations aren't being registered or something :/

Did you install the full sexlab or just the update? Some people have been making the mistake of just installing the update. Also are you running FNIS by MO?

The full, from both the direct and mirror. I looked at the files carefully too, I just don't see why FNIS says the animations are missing when I do a check but no warnings pop up when I run FNIS

Bump and update Female doing a male seems to work sometimes. Everything else just doesn't. They stand there naked looking like a T.

If they are standing in a T pose then that is a animation registry problem. Either the animations are in the wrong place, you installed FNIS in the wrong place or something along those lines. The T pose is caused by a missing or unregistered animation.

Well I extracted the sexlab into the /data folder and FNIS was installed by NMM. FNIS is v5.2.

Just saying if you have a T pose then something was installed incorrectly somewhere/somehow, because a T pose only comes from missing animations.

but it should come up to an error in FNIS right? Here is my FNIS log:

It may or may not come up with a error. If the animations are in the wrong place for example FNIS will not register them nor give a error because FNIS is unaware of them. Or if the animations for what ever reason never got installed, same thing.

Yea, I did the check and it's missing all of them. What is the file/folder that contains them and where should they go?

Bump. Still don't know the animation files/folder and where they should be.

Again bump.

Honestly I don't know where they are suppose to be, also it depends if you are using MO or NMM. MO should have them in the profile and NMM in data. Though I don't think they are labeled as animations.

I use NMM and I even manually installed it myself... Still no luck

you'll want to read the mod author's sticked post in his comment section on nexus. there he mentioned that FNIS report will give a false positive if you'd earlier manually installed FNIS files, and then use a mod manager. you need to perform surgery on your skyrim directory by removing said files.

well, i'd love if Dayelyte had a SLAL pack, but those files of his are source material for modders.

As for the PCEA2 files...when FNIS loads pcea2 version 1.3 i get 530 alternate animations just fine. and since it doesn't require a SLAL format, one wonders what the problem could be. hmmm...

Well, google searching that shows others have the same problem. i'm sure there's a solution out there. Fore himself says, "Read the instructions." (which isn't very helpful, is it?)

Are you running MO?

on page 89 of the nexus support thread fore has a conversation with someone about that...it's kind of confusing but i think the gist is you might have uninstalled pcea2 previously??

having read almost all 150 pages of that support thread i can make a guess that, if you are using MO, that you absolutely NEED to delete the overwrite mod that you created for the output from the FNIS generator.

yes i run MO and i used loot to see if there was any problems and it didnt show any errors. i used the fnis log to find the two files that you highlighted red and i couldnt find any solutions thru google. the next thing in my mind to try is finding a patch, (if there is one, im a noob lol) or anything that can get my character to actually animate with the partner. Any help is highly appreciated :)

The solution is very simple. Fix your very own installation of those mods. Assuming that "Dayelyte" is properly built. PCEA2 certainly is.

The files that FNIS can't find are supposed to be in character/behaviors:

- FNIS_FNIS_PCEA2_Behavior.hkx

- FNIS_Dayelyte_Behavior.hkx

Nwiabber: please pay attention: i asked, "did you recently uninstall PCEA2?" Let's keep things simple and not go off on tangents like using LOOT to troubleshoot...or patches

My exact location for the PCEA2 behavior file is:

C:\Games\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Mod Organizer\mods\FNIS PCEA2 - Player Exclusive Animations (dynamic)\Meshes\actors\character\behaviors\FNIS_FNIS_PCEA2_Behavior.hkx

Basically, FNIS is looking for files in a mod called "PCEA2" that you have obviously uninstalled/removed/deleted/disabled. The reason FNIS is looking, i'm assuming (from reading all 150 pages of that effing support thread), is because MO generates a FNIS output in overwrite...you'll want to delete this and generate it again.

meshes folder

scripts folder

tools folder

...or if you haven't uninstalled PCEA2, i recommend you figure out installation issues, as fore recommends (i'd personally uninstall, delete the download, re-download, reinstall. some users report errors in unpacking zip files when using mod organizers)

...and as for your Dayelyte animations, i think you've either installed it incorrectly or you tried to install a modder's resource thinking it was an animation plug and play pack. which it isn't (unless google is lying to me)

I am having a similar situation, exempt only my character is not moving, I thought i fixed it, but it keeps happening, animation starts for partner but my character just stands there, idle.

I have tryed reinstalling the XP32 maximun skeleton extended & FNIS. interestingly my character will do the masterbate animations.

I did have pcea2 off plus the animation pack i grabbed was a modders resource. oops lol. i did however turned pcea2 back on, ran fnis, and had the realistic idles+movements on and it worked fine. idk if i still got to re-install it but i can do it if i have to. the dayletes animation folder is confusing me tho. the folder doesnt have a data directory and MO keeps flashing a warning on it as in the screenshot i attached

other than that i havent gone back to check cuz ive been hooked on enderal after i fixed my computer.

then i recommend removing, not just disabling, pcea2...if you don't want to use it anymore.

As for the modders resource - it's not meant to be used as a SLAL pack. Why don't you private message dayletes himself and ask him if there's a mod or slal pack out there that does contain those particular animations.

i did re-install pcea2 and the animations are still acting funny. i tried sumthing though. i turned on osex+osa, i had to see if that was acting up too and sadly it had the same results. my guess is that i messed up installing fnis? i followed gamerpoets guide to installing it. and the other animations like realistic animation mods work fine. Maybe i should reinstall fnis? let me know what you think

the animations are still acting funny... it had the same results...the other animations like realistic animation mods work fine....

attachicon.giffunny.jpg

LOL im mean funny like when i try to start osex like in the pic, both characters would stand there making sex sounds. even when i try to switch the scenes they'd stand there.

in sexlab i made sure to have the right animations installed including matchmaker.then i cast the debug spell on the npc but then both the character and the npc juist stand there grunting. the werewolf animations however, was working for the werewolf but my character would still stand still.

the weird thing is that when i run fnis like before, 1 warning would pop up but no consistences. Non-sexlab/Osex animations work fine and i recently got that log that i put on here earlier.

Besides that the game plays fine its juist pissing me off    post-1298059-0-87365000-1472434358_thumb.jpg

well better to go thru hell to fix somethin than to press a button and expect everything to be 100%. Nothing is perfect but to feel accomplishment or failure is up to the repairer.

You need to run FNIS from within whatever mod manager you are using.

So, sorry to add to the train of issues here but I was having the same issues as this, did some FNIS tinkering and it started working. But my combat animations are now messed up. Basic 1H swords don't unsheath and bandits just T stance where as I swing with my sword while it being on my belt. I shouldn't have any combat based mods running though. And it's odd that it only came up once I fixed sexlab not working. Doing some checks on stuff to try and get it going but maybe if anyone else has seen this and can help.
