I've often wondered the same thing myself.

It would be more realistic at least.

 

My only guess is because WW has a Climax Ending Setting, which I use, but it can be disabled and use the Timed Ending instead.

Which would mean the animations could time out before Sims ever reach a Climax animation.   

 

I'd like to see a new pregnancy setting added that worked with Vaginal Climax Pregnancy only.
