[Poll] When is inZOI going to get some real NSFW mod?

I remember some people here saying that as soon as the mod kid gets released, we would get a ton of NSFW mods.

I still don't see shit except for some textures mods and clothes.

The modkit didn't include support for scripting mods apparently. It's supposed to be released in December according to the devs (as of 4 months ago on the inZoi Reddit Modkit AMA) and I'm guessing that's what modders are waiting on

In the meantime, Mods that don't require scripting tools should be good to go though

 

Also I keep hearing people singing "Doom & Gloom" to inZOI. I keep reminding them the game IS NOT ready for primetime (The Devs even admit to that) & EA's decision to SCRAP development of The Sims 5 (Yes they've SCRAPPED it. That isn't just something I picked up off the Reddit Rumor Mill (Though that's where I first heard about it however) & doesn't help matters any either

I'm waiting for the mod, I looking forward to work on animations. This game have a huge NSFW potential.

Sims 4 continues to sell very well, from a cost standpoint it would be pointless for EA to release Sims 5. They definitely delayed it by 5 years or so.

Except 5 years ago, the world was in the middle of a pandemic & last gen consoles were still selling ik hotcakes

I'm curious.  If the update isn't out yet, how are you guys working on it?  What sort of work are you doing to prepare for the action function update?

I would think it is a good thing. I have never heard of Blueprint but lua? Heck, that's been around a very long time. Much, much more common language to use. I imagine this lowers the knowledge barrier of entry quite a bit when it comes to modding.

Yeah. That was a problem for Skyrim too. Enough so that there were utility mods that were made to make the actors the same height during animation so that they would line up properly. It wouldn't be too bad if the same such mods existed for this game as well but then you would always have to deal with the immersion-breaking effect of having your characters with different heights either having dramatic growth spurts or shrinking like someone cut off their legs at the knees every time they entered an animation.

I think there are many games that solve this issue already. One that comes to my mind is VAM (I'm not sure tho) and it has so many modders and devs that I think it's only a matter of adapting your skills to a new way of making animations.

I'm betting on second half of 2026 modders are going to have to figure out how to get them to work, make rigs, and work arounds. If this game doesn't allow NSFW mods the game is dead and The Sims will be the only option again. The game is really locked down until their mods to open the game up to be more realistic. You can't even date as a teen which what do they think this is the 50s?

For the record, I don't think this has been true for awhile now. And the wait is essentially relying upon the script modding. That is, unless someone is willing (if not already) to take the hard road to integrate it, but it's just not wise to make much progress with the game rapidly developing and changing so aggressively (and from a game perspective, quite well too.)
