I'll be the first. I'm a writer and an ADND (DND) master. I come up with stories, tales, and assignments. I'm not familiar with molding programs and won't be able to help with development. I want to join a team where the plot and character personalities are more important than sexual content. I don't want to work with zoophilia or excessive cruelty.

Or I want to assemble my own team. I don't know English. I use a translator.

The rules for this thread are very simple: post messages describing your skills, what you expect from the team, and what you want to work on. You should also understand that by posting an ad here, you agree that you may receive private messages.

One of my ideas is related to the Dark Brotherhood. Any fans of the Dark Brotherhood?

I'm still looking for a team to create modifications... if anyone is interested, write me a private message or here.

it seems that the interest in modding has really not faded much.

How you been getting any dms from modders? Just wanted to know if the modding scene was still active or not? ^^

I meant that it is difficult to find people who know how and want to create mods.

I feel like the modding scene is still super active but everyone is hiding in gated communities; i.e., Discord. 😭

Just wanted to say hi and bump your post since there haven't been any replies yet! Hopefully more eyes see this topic so you find others to collaborate/share your ideas with!

Happy Halloween! 🎃

I don't speak for everyone but I'm sure some modders out there like to simply just work alone; No pressure, no quality-control issues, etc. Like everything else; such a approach has its pros & cons. LL has a Discord too but thankfully the forums are still available so folk can exchange ideas, link up, etc.

Also, everyone is busy with work/school, so it's difficult trying to sync schedules with multiple collaborators.

Either way I hope to see more leaders in this space that can bring people together! ^^

Dont wanna come over as mean here, but as a somewhat seasoned modder, I feel I should add a bit of Perspective here...

First of, there are still a lot of active modders out there, and new ones are still joining the community, BUUUUT... if you want to collab or work together, you need to bring SOMETHING to the table.

I see this Phenomenon I like to call "the Idea Guys" a lot, and the issue is always the same: they simply cant contribute anything meaningful.
If you look at the modding scene like you would at an economy: An Idea, concept, or simple dialogue and story writing has next to now value because quite literally Everyone can do those things. Skills like coding or 3D asset creation are MUCH rarer and sought after.

Someone who has put in the Effort to learn how to code or use the CK wont be sitting there and be mulling over what to do with those skills.
They will have acquired those skills BECAUSE they had their own Ideas in the first place.

So, real life example from me:
Someone writes me and has an Idea for a specific device. They don't have any experience with the CK or coding, but they have a lot of experience with Blender and substance painter.
Which means they provided me with the 3D model, I did the implementation.
Both of us had a skill, and we combined them to get something useful out of it.

So, Morale of this Story:
Learn modding, put your work out there, and opportunities for collab will present themselves.
No skilled person will ever agree to simply do the complicated work FOR you.

Thanks for the clarification, not that I needed it or didn't understand it myself. My skill is creating stories and plots. Yes, you're right, there are a lot of mods, but most of the plot-focused ones are empty. Those that can engage with the plot and develop NPC backstories are few... unfortunately, I don't have enough free time to learn this.

If I had time to learn how to use one or more programs, I wouldn't look for people who would need or be interested in my skills. I would create them myself.

I don't post or describe my ideas for one simple reason: I don't want them to be used, at least not without my participation or consent.

In any case, thanks for your opinion and time.

Also, this thread wasn't created just for me, but so that enthusiasts could promote themselves, their skills, and join teams. If you thought this whole thread existed just for me... well, that's not how it seemed.😅
