Blastik1 Posted September 5, 2025 Posted September 5, 2025 Hi all. I downloaded the latest TS4 patch today, I have no issues game-wise, but BE ran a scan when I booted up my game and flagged about 90 packages (mainly WW animations) and advised removing them until they are updated. It also made clear that this was about "tuning" and not broken mods/exceptions - Is this normal? I only started using BE a few weeks ago and I'm not really that familiar with it (it worked brilliantly finding the mods that were broken by EA a few weeks ago and was vital to getting my game up and running though). Is this something that happens normally on patch days and what do you guys do when it happens? Spoiler Cheers!

Quite normal for most EA patches to break Script Mods and sometimes even CC too. But some EA updates are more severe than others. UI Mods, Custom Traits, Custom Careers, Food Mods, etc., are usually broken. What many ppl do is play offline and don't allow automatic game updates until Mod authors have time to check/update their Mods/CC. I don't use BE because it often reports false errors. But instead prefer MC Command Center as it has better error reporting IMO. First thing I do is check for MC updates after a game patch, along with WW & Basemental. Luthienrising posts broken mods lists on EA forums but they don't list NSFW stuff. https://forums.ea.com/discussions/the-sims-4-mods-and-custom-content-en/broken-and-updated-sims-4-mods-and-cc-1-117-aug-19-2025-game-update/12473785 If all else fails I use the 50/50 Mod removal method to try and isolate the broken Mods/CC. Everybody dreads EA updates/patches, at least those of us that use Mods anyway. Edited September 5, 2025 by Scorpio typo 1

Yeah when it comes to animations and bodies it is normal for them to be flagged, but I've found that those files, when they come up, aren't a problem, so you can ignore them at the moment. Maybe someday down the road one of the updates may actually break them, but up until now, it has not caused any problems to ignore them. 1
