I agree, but most people don't use Nexus. Even for NSFW/Lewd stuff. Most people who make regular mods also just use GameBanana, so it's a lose lose situation.

Yes, this is really problematic since what feels like forever and that worldview doesn't want to change. In the AI disclosure statements, they use AI to make the models, textures and graphics from prompts. They do some editing after (but you can still tell because it’s inaccurate and messed up). They don’t even do their own UI renders and thumbnails, they AI’d it too.

Its a lose lose so long as modders dont post stuff there. Its as simple as stuff being posted there. Like for example somebody makes a Halloween Amy Rose lewd outfit or I commission my oc Amy. So long as this stuff is posted there the AI content drops. Its a choice not to make and post stuff there and we can bury it if we band together like we did against Larry.

I 100% agree these official nudes of asuka and rei should be used as decals, hell i go as far to say some UI elements as well!

You just stated the problem. People need to post there. Most people don't want too. I would love to use Nexus as much as the next guy, but people just don't want too. It's the alternative, and that's all people use it as. NSFW modders prefer to post things in other places because Nexus will also just take stuff down if they feel like it. So nothing but AI stuff gets posted. That's why it's a lose lose situation.

Depends on the moderators there. If they like AI I guess it will pass and theres a bias. But so long as nobody wants to the AI slop will remain right on the front page for all to see and that goes for everywhere.

Last time I tried to post one of my mods there, Nexus removed it because the moderators there have the same mentality as Larry.

This is about a cartoon hedgehog girl whose arbitrary age has been decanonised by SEGA. I mean really? Sexualisation of a "child-like" character?

Amy Rose was just naked (or in her underwear), that's it. Nudity isn't inherently sexual and her tiny titties wiggling is just natural physics.

It can be argued that she could just be a flat-chested young adult since she hardly acts like a child much lately if you've actually played the games and/or read the comics, and SEGA removed the characters' ages from their bios/profiles as if their designated ages have been decanonised now. 

 

Really though, the moderators of Nexus Mods are just fucking stupid.

I still remember they removed NSFW mods of the protagonist of Silent Hill f (even if you replace her with completely different characters) just because they thought the main character was underaged even though the game itself made it explicitly clear that she's not AND she bears the likeness of a real life actress in her 20's.

While nudity, when actually thought over, isn't inherently sexual, most of the world still considers it as such. Like, people get turned on just by seeing straight-up nudity, even if no legitimately sexual acts are involved. Can't blame them, nudity is quite appealing.

 

The mentality is "if it turns me on, it must be sexual". It sucks, but that's how the most of the world just is. If we lived in a world where being naked didn't have to be so widely-considered as sexual, then that would be pretty spectacular, but until people refrain from jacking themselves off to plain-old nudity, we are worlds away from that.
