Game exits to world menu

When I try to play a household, it returns me to the residential worlds menu. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with either WW, or MCCC, but I have no idea what. I updated WW and NWP and MCCC. I thought maybe the game was corrupted, so I started a new game. Still does it. Does anybody know what's broken?

After the last update, most of the Script mods broke.. you may want to go through and check all your mods, because there is a long list of broken mods. The 50/50 Method is probably the quickest way to find what may be causing your problems.

I found it. It's a folder labeled AEP. 2 files in it. AEP.package and AEP.ts4script.

Yeah, I tried putting everything back and AEP isn't the only broken mod. I have way too many mods to go through all of them. lol

Ksuihuh has recently been active on their patreon with updates to RedAppleNet and Sugar Life, and they said they would be working on updating AEP but that's a longer-term goal.

July 1st(v4) was last update and it works fine for me.

 

But quite a few other Mods need/use it though, so I'd bet it's those Mods that are actually broken.

I am affected as well. It´s about the most scriptmods.  You can check yours with chatGPT: Copy the entire text from the latest lastExepction file and insert it into chatgpt. It will analyse the whole text ( is its not to long) . In most cases it tells you what to to. 

in my case the main problem seems to be WW (inluding Hoe it up) and venue mod(s). But playing sims without ww is no option for me , I would miss it, because it very spices up my gameplay. So I am waiting for the next scrip updates and playing another games or watching films 😕

Hoe it up isn't part of WW. It's a Wicked Pixxel (sp.?) mod. You can delete it and still use WW just fine.

Cumshine 2.1.0 LL seems to be broken. I removed it and was able to go into worlds. I don't see an update for CumShine. Pity since I made every woman love cum.

Cumshine was updated Wednesday. It works fine.

Slight update. Just saw a newly released video from EA - it seems one of the culprits as at their end.  For Rent is causing major issues. Might be an idea to disable that pack and play. I'm going to try (when I'm not busy with other stuff) and I'll get back to y'all with results.

It's quite possible that certain Mods get broken with certain EPs.

But in the end it's usually a broken Mod anyway.

 

I have For Rent as do others but not everyone has the same bugs, and most ppl posting here have found quite a few broken Mods.

 

Try removing/disabling all Mods & Script Mods, delete your localthumbcache, and start a new game to find out if you have the same EA bug.

I did a search for 'script' mods and deleted a bunch of old trait ones and that fixed it for me.

It seems it's one of these "Random" monsters. Meaning, it doesn't necessarily hit each individual the same way. Ditto for mods. For me, the culprits were Khlas' Big Dick Problems, Chingyu's 100 traits mod and onedrive associated stuff still lurking around - even after I'd wiped onedrive from my computer. Don't ask what happened when I hit search on my computer for "onedrive" then deleted .... you'll weep. For some people, it's been Skardd's mod, but for other's it works. Some people are having issues with NIsa k's mod, other's aren't. This little bug is like the common flu virus - it constantly mutates.

Another big problem is The For Rent EP. It seems just about everything gone wrong revolves around that. If you have it, de-activate in the game (just unselect in the new packs menu) and see if that does anything.
