Ok so i have had the mod "Levelers Tower" for a whole year now. its always, always worked. i could enter every room, press every button, open every chest and cabnit and what ever. i could enter the torture chamber as i pleased with out delay or ctd.

But now i CTD when i try to enter the Torture chamber. only and only when i go to enter the torture chamber, i ctd.

warning: Property LevelersMirrorMSG on script LevelersMirrorScript attached to (0D012281) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property

installing both esm and esp still results in a CTD when entering the Torture room, same script error ONLY when i go to enter the Torture chamber!! clean save, new save, even when its the ONLY MOD ACTIVATED. (i have all 3 dlcs activated too as its required.). same script error, same CTD only when trying to enter torture chamber!

I've tried going back to earlier versions of the mod but i still ctd when entering the Torture chamber. i can use every other aspect of this mod just fine, no problem whats so ever! but entering the torture chamber? NOPE

any ideas?

Things i've tried so far:
Fresh install
Verified integrity of game
Started a new game
still CTD when trying to enter the Torture chamber, only to be faced with this script error..?

All the steps you have taken would have made sure the Skyrim game was working properly but this looks like something specifically wrong with the mod itself. For whatever reason some of the scripting for that room was removed or atleast no longer recognized by the game. When you rolled back to the older version of the levelers tower did you perform a clean save to ensure that all the scripting for the messed up version of LT (levelers tower) was removed as well? If you activated the older version of the tower on a save that had the broken version info on it there is a good chance the scripting would have carried over. I would try going to another game cell, riften or markarth for example. Save the game there and then leave the game and deactivate the mod completely, all .esp and loose files. If your using NMM you will need to go into your Skyrim game folder and make sure when you deactivated the mod that NMM didn't leave any of the mods folders floating around in there, it does that from time to time. Once the mod is deactivated completely start your game back up and wait where you last saved for three days ingame time, then save again. The waiting time will make sure the game cell that LT is in will have reseted as well making sure none of the old scripting is still working. Once you wait those three days save and exit the game again. Then try activating an older version of the mod or you could also re-upload the mod itself, just make sure to get rid of the broken version so you don't activate that one by mistake. At any rate whatever version of LT you choose to re-install activate it as usual and try it out again ingame. If the problem is no longer present than it was a glitch in specific with that copy of LT, if the problem persists then there is some loose files in your game folder causing this. If it doesn't work then repost here and we can try something else.

yes, i even started a new game with each version i rolled back to.

Edit: there seems to be alot of people ctd when trying to enter the lab or garden room with the same script error etc. so i guess it is the mod itself and its been abandon, sadly. :/

I used it before. It's absolutely full of scripts. And removing it won't help at all, not even if you go to an older save (before installing it). It's hell on the papyrus log, I know that much for sure. It will make scripts lag like hell if you're trying to use LL mods at the same time. And since it hasn't been updated or anything in a long while I'd just consider it dead in the water.

Shame, though. It was a cool idea and very well made. Look nice, great textures, lots of cool stuff to check out and play with and still gave a decent framerate while inside (except the garden for some reason).
