Mafia: The Old Country

An amazing nude mod was made for the new game: "Mafia: The Old Country" and published on Nexus. However the game developer hates NSFW mods so they used DMCA to force nexus to remove it. I saved the mod before the removal.

 

I have shared an in game picture showing the mod.

 

If the admins of this website think its OK for me to upload the mod files, I will do it and share this amazing work with fellow gamers!

(Mod is someone else's work + Mod was removed due to a DMCA takedown)

Yeah please share the mods. We need to fight back against the corpo rats like take 2

We should be allowed to mod the game how we want, it's a single player game doesn't affect the original game for anybody else.
Songs are allowed to have remixes and so games should be allowed to have mods.

If the mod isn't yours, you shouldn't upload it to begin with.

And if the game studio's dead set on DMCA'ing it, and already has done so on Nexus, why invite that kind of trouble here?

 

If Take Two has a policy of DMCA'ing mods or nude mods, then don't upload them so that they can DMCA us. Contact them and tell them you disagree with that policy, and ask them to change it.

Don't think the issue was 2k/Take Two being against nude mods. The other Mafia games weren't touched, a featured mod for Borderlands 2 is "Nude Maya 2025" directly at the top of the page and of course X-Com 2 both on nexus and here, also the WWE games.

 

I reckon the issue is that this specific model was taken from another scene in the game so they're technically redistributing a game asset. Which makes a lot more sense to have a problem with.

Yes, most likely issue is that the mod doesn't use newly-created assets, which can actually be argued is a copyright violation (and isn't worth fighting). It's also possible that the nude mod is a paywalled mod and was uploaded to Nexus without the creator's permission, which can also lead to a DMCA takedown on Nexus if the original mod creator objects.

Ohhhh, Isabella is played by and modeled after real actress Carina Conti. No wonder, nude mods for real actress likenesses have in the past caused DMCA takedowns (Until Dawn, Beyond Two Souls). I thought Isabella's likeness was an original artist creation. Welp, that is going to make distributing mods for this game very tricky.

They said directly in this thread not to host it here, but here's the hint for searching, mafiatheoldcountrymods and good luck before the evil corpo threatens more modders who dared to simply make the game R rated in the scene it was actually used originally.

I mean its weird as hell that they have a problem with a mod that shows some boobs when their entire game is 18+ containing gang violence, torture, profanity ... I wanted to make some mods for this game as well, similar to my stellar blade mod that enables jiggle physics on Isabella. Would have looked amazing with the nude mod and this game's insane graphical detail. Sadly won't happen!

It's because they used a real actress' likeness for the character. There's always been a weird legal zone for "faked" nudes of celebrities, and nude mods of characters in games modeled after real people falls in that weird zone. Sure, you may be able to successfully defend your mod in a court of law, but why would you want to pay the legal fees required along with the time and effort to go through all of that for a titty mod?

Take-Two banned multiple nude mods for Mafia: The Old Country and they were specifically Isabella Torrisi undress mods, was it "Nude Isabella v1.0"? And do I also need "Extended Textures For Nude Isabella" that was on Nexus in order for it to work? Do you know which ones are the best?
