Since last update when i try to play my households it returns to the worlds screen

Est-ce que je fais quelque chose de mal ? Ai-je raté quelque chose ? Ou est-ce que, comme je l'ai dit, je ne peux tout simplement plus jouer avec le contenu personnalisé et les mods depuis l'échec de la dernière mise à jour ? Ou, j'ai peur d'y penser, dois-je tout purger et tout recommencer ?

Electronic Arts has some real brainiacs. The fact that this game caches data and places custom content under the Documents shell folder is the absolute worst kind of design stupidity.

 

Hmm... Let's see now. Which single folder is the most likely to be flagged for automatic backups and/or cloud storage? Let's put all of our app data under there, so people hit their free storage quotas faster, and auto restore borks up everyone's game at every opportunity.

. Uh-huh. Not only did it delete my mods folder, but everything else that was at all associated with one drive - including excel files of all my different collections. I think you can figure what I'll be doing for the next few weeks.

Found a big issue, it was the mod Michael's Pee mod. if u have that delete it

Onedrive. Delete it. Re-do everything so that's it's not at all associated with onedrive.

For me, it was Khlas' Big Dick Problems and Chingyu's 100 traits mod. Idon't have Michael's Pee mod (watersports not my thing).

i found MANY more! Ugh! EA really screwed up this time. i bet on purpose! @ssholes.

i had to delete each folder in the mods folder then replace them one by one & check every time!

EVERY issue has been with a script! UNbelieveable! Half these modders are probubly dead now.

we need a mod doctor!

I just did 50/50 testing, and to me YourFalseHope's "Erotic Flower" was the culprit.

Can confirm, Skarrd's perverted pack, cowplantscandance's Omorashi mod and YourFalseHope's mods are broken. Luckily, manually editing the scripts did the trick for the last two, now I just gotta crack Skarrd's mad skillz - mainly because of the additional argument:

packs_to_load=None

but I guess it will take just a few minutes.

Update: It does, you just have to place the arguments after that one.

I'm going crazy here ... I've read everything, I've done what you said ... but it didn't help ... then in anger, I removed all the mod scripts and only kept the main ones which are the wicked and some updated animations, and removed the rest ... now the game is running ... but I miss the others that I removed ...

I've also been troubled by this issue. However, removing the mod “cumshine” stopped me from being returned to the world screen. But if you've installed mods from sites catering to people with rather specific fetishes (if you don't know what this refers to, feel free to stop reading here), the notifications won't stop ringing. So I also removed those related mods. Then the notifications stopped. However, this isn't a fundamental solution to the problem. At least I'm no longer being returned to the world screen.

Had the problem solved. Added some more cc - couldn't play again. Finally went through everything - 1 by 1 - and found the problem. Not mods, not script, not animation - one piece of Custom content .... exhibitionist shorts by MXO. Everything else A-Okay. Got the new pack .... started fine. Able to create new sim .... go to move into a lot to start a game ..... stuck on the loading screen of death. Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh!!!!! Gonna try starting the game again but unselecting For rent whic seemed to work the last time. Fingers crossed.

 

Edit: And yep, can't play a game. Gonna try again tomorrow, first without mods then without Custom Content.

Nothing working. Cannot play with any scripted mods - at all. Have even gone deep and started looking at last exceptions. Every time I delete one mod, another problem pops up. Fucking ridiculous. It's definitely an EA thing because Every scripted mod is up to date.

For me there were several script mods at issue. The following mods were DEFINITELY causing problems:

• Boss Lady's Show Business Career
• Jughandle Jones' Adult Work Enterprises Pornography Career
• Indigo's Mommy Milkers trait mod
• Docche's Sex Addiction Mod

It's possible Basemental's Drugs mod was also a problem, but I can't be sure because I've updated it now. Regardless, stay away from the mods I listed above until they've been updated.
