Same with me. Disabling all mods and it works. Don`t know yet which mod is culprit.

According to reports on this forum, looks like both Cumshine and Nisa were hit. I'm guessing there will be more. Probably any mod that has anything to do with skin details will be susceptible.

I can verify the Cumshine script file was the only file causing problems for me.

i did remove the Cumshine script file still i try to play my households it returns to the worlds screen i am going wait until turbo gets updated and the cumshine author returns sadly some of the wicked whims files need it. I suppose p5 looking good stupid ea trying slowly weed out modders

Based on my research, the 1.117 (25-08-19) update changed the way the game reads XML, basically borking nearly all script mods.

 

If your mod has a '*.ts4script' file in it, there's a good chance it's hosing your game. Even if it doesn't, the XML Injector and/or Lot 51 Core probably need to be updated too, because if that code is borked, then almost every mod out there will be trashed.

Thanks for the tip about Lot 51 Core. Removing it and all related mods allowed me to load my households.

i got an error from wicked whims too. i already removed nisa's wp

For me, it was Khlas Males Interactions mod causing this issue and giving last exception errors. Once I removed it, I could enter my households and play just fine with WW.

 

Edit: just seen it's been updated for the new patch, so heads up to everyone who has this installed that it needs to be updated or it will cause errors.

In my game with mods that need scripts work, except Better BuildBuy 4.0 from Twistedmexi which disrupts the menu at the top right of the game, the Nisane menu at startup which crashes and ends up in the game, once deleted everything is normal for me

My game includes MCC, WW, UI cheats, Andriz, Lot51, XML injector, lots of LittleMsSam etc...

Was having same problem of saved household loading into world screen. Removed cumshine and household loaded fine.

 

It was named in last exception text.

What is confirmed at this point is that:

 

WickedWhims is a viable mod;

 

Cumshine is a viable mod;

 

MCCC is a viable mod;

 

UI cheats are a viable mod;

 

The animated series is also fine.

 

I haven't tried mods that improve the field or class-related mods yet.

But the old functional mods are definitely no longer viable.

 

I hope other experts can verify more mods and issues.

I'm using a translation to explain this, so please forgive me if it's difficult to understand.

Best bet is to watch this site for the adult mods, and also maybe keep an eye on luthienrising's thread on the EA forums for updates on the various utility mods you might need, especially ones that other mods use (like Lot51 and XML Injector). Luthien is on vacay until tonight, so probably won't have that thread up-to-date until tomorrow or Friday.

Looks like this patch was a humdinger for modders. Those who updated their game will just have to be patient. And also be mad at EA for tricking you into the update if you stayed offline and fell for that "Incoming Delivery" ploy. If you're lucky enough to still be offline like me, stay offline. I'm gradually downloading the updated mods, but until I get the green light from luthien, I'm just storing them for future use. Also, if you use Ksuihuh's mods since they came back on the scene, know they are probably broken, too (from what I read, RedAppleNet is def broken, Sugar Life is unknown), and they haven't posted an update since June, so you might just end up deleting those.

 

If you only use MCCC, WW, BMD, NWP, KMI, and Cumshine, it looks like you might be good to go, but there may still be some small bugs.

after doing 50/50 tests on my script mods, hoe it up seems to be the culprit for the errors. seems to be running fine now with just mccc, ww, & nisa's wp.

Game loads ok with just 'enable custom content and mods' checked but not with 'script mods allowed' checked. Update nissa, cumshine, MCC but can't figure out what mods are kicking me back to world map. I'll try to follow the forums but damn - if it wasn't for all those magnificent modders, I wouldn't even play this game, let alone buy a dozen expansion packs!

FYI:
I had installed Tmex - BetterBuildBuy v4.0, the one that displays the mod menu in color on the left. It modified the game menu, the one in the top right, by overlapping certain icons.
Since I removed it, I no longer have this problem.
If you have the "Nisane" menu modification, the mod is broken and remains visible in the game.

J'ai testé tous mes mods, et le seul qui pose problème après la mise à jour est A.E.P.

une fois ce mod retiré le problème est résolu.

I am still checking my mods but one that would create this problem for me was ErrantRed Good Time Guys.  Sadly this was one of my favorite mods.

testing it over and over again in different ways, looks like its the scripting thats the problem. at least for me. which means i cant do anything with it story wise until they fix that issue
