Charl6481 Posted July 21, 2025 Posted July 21, 2025 The TNG penises used to work just fine before, then I changed my character's body preset on bodyslide and now none of the male human/humanoid NPCs have penises, its just invisible now. I tried changing my character to male and it works just fine on the player character but just completely invisible on NPCs. I've had this issue once before and back then I simply build the models on bodyslide again and it was fixed, but now no matter how many times I rebuild them it doesn't appear. The TNG menu on MCM has a debugger but it only works on the player character. Maybe the penis hasn't been assigned to the NPCs? Is there a way to check? Either in MCM or outside? I've included the mod list if there might bean issue there.

Do they have the dong armor, but the mesh is not being rendered? 20 minutes ago, Charl6481 said: Maybe the penis hasn't been assigned to the NPCs? This is entirely possible. Depends on how TNG distributes its dong "hats". If its like SOS then its based on the race, and distribution is most likely done with a cloak of some kind (don't remember). A more modern solution might use SPID. 20 minutes ago, Charl6481 said: Is there a way to check? Find a character that has a magical invisible dong. Open the console. Select them. Just Don't Posted July 21, 2025 Posted July 21, 2025 There is a known issue where NPCs have additional cover items added at some point, for me it usually happens after a couple of hours into a save. There is an updated DLL with a workaround for this in the second pinned comment. Also you should take a look and organize your left pane. You have some problematic stuff in there like Faster SMP being overwritten by what I assume is regular HDT-SMP, CBBE 3BA being overwritten by base CBBE (no idea about COCO body so won't comment on that). There are some instances of redundant mods too (gray lighting bolt flag, which means the files from that mod are 100% overwritten by some other mods so you don't need them or they should be placed differently in relation to mods conflicting with it) like Expressive facegen/2 (no idea what's the 2 doing there) and Crash Logger with Crash logger for SE/AE with PBD support (you don't need both).

Well the spot where the dick should be is completely empty, there's just a hole there, like the image attached. Also I've discovered that the Black Briar mercenaries in the Black Briar Lodge have dicks and even the tortured prisoners in the Dawnstar Sanctuary. And indeed you are right, there is a "genitalia cover' item in the npc inventory, at least now the problem is somewhat clearer. Is there someway to remove it perhaps? Using SPID to assign them manually does make sense but I have little to no idea how to find and write down the commands and IDs lmao. And yes the TNG is getting overwritten by bodyslide cus that was where I build the models.

As the previous comment suggested, there is a "genitalia cover" item in the npc inventory for some reason which makes the penis meshes invisible. And yes my modlist is an absolute mess, they started working properly for a while and I got scared of touching them lmao. Also I'm gonna sound really stupid here but where is the second pinned comment?

Assume instead that the mod is working as intended, there's just a conflict of some kind. Open that form id in xEdit and find its associated ARMA record. This will have the mesh file name. Make sure this exists. Open the mesh in NifSkope, make sure it looks ok and that its textures exist and are sane; by sane I mean they're squares of size 2^n with a supported compression format and not transparent. 10 minutes ago, Charl6481 said: Using SPID to assign them manually does make sense but I have little to no idea how to find and write down the commands and IDs lmao. Unless you have some reason to believe that TNG would require you to handle the dong distribution yourself, I wouldn't bother looking into this. There's nothing here yet that's suggesting it's not working as intended; that cover item came from somewhere afterall. You just have a conflict of some kind. If I'm not mistaken, DD is a bit notorious for causing issues just like this. 13 minutes ago, Charl6481 said: And yes the TNG is getting overwritten by bodyslide cus that was where I build the models. But the preset you use in BS will not prevent dongs from being built, nor will BodySlide ever delete files. If it used to work, then BodySlide is not the one that broke it.

Ahhhh ok thank you, didn't realize you were talking about the nexus page, I should seriously pay more attention to reading and the mod pages lmao. Thanks so much.

So it seems there's an easy fix for it in the mod page and my dumbass overlooked it, I did find the ARMA and opened all the meshes files and they seem to work just fine, there was no genitalia cover file however in the mod file. But anyways thanks so much for your help and I will keep your advices in mind.

Confirm you're using the most recent version of TNG and if the issue is still present I'd start checking if some other mod is causing the issue.

Not all npcs are affected by this though, just a handful.
