...0... Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 This little demo shows how it works seems great hopefully useful for future games and more realistic hair physics and fur animals.  File or URL for file.  http://www.guru3d.com/news_story/tressfx_2_to_be_released_by_amd_now_with_hairfur_and_grass_physics.html  Â
Angrybird Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 So... besides hair grabbing tech for the oculus rift would anyone care?
...0... Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 I just show it here, you don't have to care about it at all  Are you a Nvidia fan by any chance
Lexi SubZero Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Well. It still looks like the hair go haywire with just a slight movement...still a lot to improve there. But if I had to choose between graphic accelerated PhysX (whole bunch of effects) and TressFX (just a fancy hair for now)...then Nvidia FTW.
gaggedgirl123 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 People need to realize that hair moving unrealistically in these demos is only meant to really show the effects. With some minimal tweaking, any developper can make hair behave more realistically with these engines
