PStrike088 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I've tried everything and looked everywhere for a reason as to why my Skyrim crashes. Ive limited my mods to only things I want. And set my graphics to low but I still get CTD either on load screen or as I get close to cities (lately Im lucky if the actual games runs for ten mins). I ran a performance monitor and this is the result I got: file:///C:/Users/Nick/Documents/Skyrim%20Performance%20Monitor/Screenshots/Screenshot_1.jpeg When I was playing the instance the GPU hit 100% the game shuts down. Is this the problem? Is there something else I need to do to fix this? If you need more info to come up with a answer just let me know.

The second screenshot you linked is useless as its a file path from your computer not a URL. 3. Please provide the FULL FNIS generator output as that can cause this issue as well even if it is rare. 4. Have you used Wyre Bash's Mod Checker to check for missing mods?

Ark of Truth Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 When you generate the FNIS files it will show text in the window. SELECT ALL the text and copy and paste it to this thread.

Grumpf Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 >>Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory.<< Did you install the game in a special way ? Grumpf.
Uriel Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Well: C:\Games\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users So no, it's completely legit. Fnis just being wrong.
D_ManXX2 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 it was correct it would not cause a warning. The question is if steam is really installed or not. if not, help ends.
PStrike088 Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 I just installed steam. Still CTD about 2 min into the game. My friend installed this game on my computer so im not sure how legit it is but but i guess not very.
Ark of Truth Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 I just installed steam. So that would be a no.... Well you are not using a legit copy as shown by your FNIS output. Loverslab does not support modding pirated copies as such we can no longer help you.
PStrike088 Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 OK so I need to buy a copy off steam. I knew a my friends was full of it. Ok so I get this shady version off my cpu and install a real one and that should be a fix all?
Grumpf Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Ys. It's really right now and as soon as you're 100% it's legit, we can rule out all the bugs that a non legal version would have created. Be a good boy
PStrike088 Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Does Hallmark make a "Hey Dont ever give me a stolen game again" card. Thanks for the help I will get this this legit and be back In a day or two.
