They said on their Itch.io page that the mod would be launching in July. So, naturally, now that it's July, I decided to go check the website, and the listing is... Gone. The inzoiresources page is still there (but I think a lot of the information is gone?) and it still links to the Itch.io page, but if you click the link you just get a 404, and the mod seems to be gone from Itch.io entirely... Ya'll think they did a cut and run with the money, or do you think some legal shit came up? I can't find any posts about it anywhere on the internet, so I'm wondering if anyone else has even noticed yet...

Edit: oh and just to be clear, the page WAS still there on Sunday night, so it has been deleted within the last like 24 hours.

Edit 2: Never mind, I just realized there was another post right before mine on Loverlab, and it turns out that the mod page was being ran by a known scammer. So they definitely did a cut and run. That mod had like $10,000 in donations last time I checked, yikes.

Late Monday night/early Tuesday morning, WickedZOI absconded with over $6,500 in donations. They never reached $10,000, but they took a significant amount. Additionally, they are the mastermind behind two other "mod" scams on itch.io called Extreme Real Life and inZOI Perverso. Their new alias is SimZoiMods, and they are a notorious Brazilian scammer. The news was first reported on the r/inZOI_Adults subreddit and reposted on Lovers Lab.

 

At this point, the inZOI community would benefit more from waiting for Turbodriver to develop WickedWhims for inZOI, rather than engaging with these dubious, unknown, paid "modders."

Yeah, I was just rounding when I said 10k, but it was way over 6k. The last time I checked it (possibly just a couple hours before it was taken offline, but I don't remember EXACTLY when) it was at about 8.5k. I think it was more like 8.4 but I don't remember exactly. Either way, that's super unfortunate. It looked really promising, but I guess that's because of the fake 3D models they used and nod a potential mod it's self lol.

Edit: Also, is turbodriver even going to make a WickedWhims in inZoi? As far as I understand his post about possibly doing it was an april fools joke and he wont be making one. Don't blame him, either, as there wouldn't be much money in it, inzoi only has about 1,000 DAU, where as to this day Sims 4 still consistently pulls over 20k DAU.

None of this is true. I have been doing a series of exposé articles on this scammer, and I was watching them in real time until they went offline, and the total was a little over $6,500. That is why I included that number in my Reddit post, and I was the first one to break the story of them running off with the money.

 

Additionally, what you said about Turbodriver is also incorrect. Turbo mentioned that WickedWhims for inZOI is not out of the question at all. He is waiting for the game to be more complete before he considers mod development. The concurrent player count for a single-player game is irrelevant to inZOI and does not influence whether Turbo will mod for it. Nonetheless, nothing will be confirmed until Turbo himself makes an official announcement and the inZOI developers have released a stable build for him to work with. Hopefully that will come to fruition in 2026.

 

Regarding player counts, most people have stated that they are waiting for more updates and for the final ModKit/script mods to be released before they return to inZOI.

 

While I am saddened that so many people fell victim to this scam, I believe the key takeaway is the importance of patience. As inZOI continues to develop, we should give time for the legitimate content creators and modders to emerge and establish a trustworthy modding community.

I pretty much only trust Turbodriver at the moment for any possible future sex mod. Having played Sims4 for a long time and seen his commitment and talent there, its very much his thing. Until he is ready with a much more complete and stable version of InZoi and actually makes a move to try and create anything for it , this game is staying in my steam account uninstalled . I very much got the game for its future sexual fun potential so i will happily be patient.

I thought so too but it seems people may have given cash to support it which is silly and sad. TurboDriver however, is the actual dev for Whickedwhims ( not whickedZoi as far as i know) for Sims4 and i was just saying that if he/she created a similar thing for InZoi i would trust that. But thats down to TurboDriver obviously to decided to work on anything.

This guy spreads lies and got called out before for saying a fake game called Paradise was real and doubled down after Cyber Boi and the other GTA YouTubers called him out. Dude is scary and delusional. Do not believe anything he says about WickedZOI or engage with him. It's embarrassing that he's part of the inZOI fandom because he's giving people another reason to hate on this game,

The exact same scam that's existed since even before early access even began. I can't believe the insistence to scam in the inZOI space. Luckily I didn't care for the idea of any adult mod for inZOI being named after The Sims 4's title, Wicked Whims (formerly Wicked WooHoo). Something else more unique to inZOI can be came up with, not only easily, but I just prefer that anyway. Hopefully that happens when someone actually begins proper development of said mod for inZOI.
