Hun? So you finish them as totally fake???? What???
Well dude, what the point of all this? Say the truth, please!

Hi Motherlodesims,

WickedZOI was previously exposed as a scam in the main inZOI subreddit thread (see below), having raised over $6,500 to date in community donations to develop their fraudulent "mod" for inZOI. They are now revealed to be behind two additional fake "mods" that they are soliciting donations for, continuing their pattern of deception and theft. That's what's going on.

Pitty that is a fake. People are loosing some great opportunity to show some good work on that, wasting time with these bullshits!

He also has a fanstler page. I looking into how to report, but man all these donation sites makes it a hustle to report scam. I guess they earn some cash for each scam too in fees

NaughtyZoi is a thing, but with the new update releasing yesterday or so, development is slowed a lil. Spirit Shard is working like an animal to get everything back on track after the update though.

Another WickedZOI update: the scammer is now posting malware and urging people to download a fake “WickedZOI Mod Manager” and “Wicked RealLove Mod.” More details are in the updated thread below. It’s also starting to gain traction on X/Twitter, so if you’re active there, please help spread the word so people don’t end up downloading malware. Link to the X/Twitter thread.

Update: On May 3, 2026, Nexus Mods conducted a security audit on the WickedZOI file uploaded to their site and identified it as containing malware, resulting in an immediate ban. According to the official ban notice: “This account uploaded mods that included malicious code intended to harm users’ PCs and/or accounts.”

They also cited their Terms of Service: “Files that are intended to destroy or otherwise cause harm to a user's person or property, such as viruses, malware, adware, etc., are prohibited. Submitted files will be subject to virus scanning and may be moderated as a result.” This was the initial reason given, but they have since added more.

Is this real? Anybody know it?

https://wickedzoi.com

I downloaded the free one, and ran a virus scan, as far as I can see there was no malware or other virus files detected. I've installed it in my game, and it has 2 anmations from what I've played with so far. Missionary when started by a male zoi, and then cowgirl when started by a female zoi. I'm not risking 4 dollars, and the possibility of getting some virus to run their little mod manger thing.

There is proof that they have things working in game, but with there not be a face behind the mod, and it not really having much discussion about feature anywhere else, I'd still be skeptical.

i feel some individuals here are having a personal witchhunt or are having personal issues with that 'wickedzoi' mod.

after reading all the speculation and negative bias, i was very curious if the 'pitchforks and torches' that were drawn in advance were actual based on facts.

so i dled it. scanned it, opened the file, and found nothing malicious.

unless a working proof of concept is considered malicious...it is fine and functioning.

you can have a convo about if it is code bashed from others, or that you don't like the monetizing!

but stop the toxicity towards modders outside the core meta group of 'established' modders.

all this tantrum narrative has accomplished is degrading the opinion of certain posters here.

now that it is out, maybe time to own up that the label 'fake' and 'scam' was premature and  not based on facts.

as this is just....not sexy .

this kind of behaviour will only negatively impact the motivation to mod for inzoi.

if you want a nice community, be nice yourself.

it helps.

Nexus Mods did a security audit on the installer, it contained malware and they were banned off Nexus. - https://forums.nexusmods.com/topic/13536232-wickedzoi-banned/
(EDIT : Does appear Nexus Mods updated their ban reason within the forum post to now being about no paid services. Not sure why this was done, maybe easier to uphold, but worth mentioning.)

WickedZOI has been a known and malicious scam for a long while. Just because they put in an animation replacer into a package to trick people into installing the info stealer included with their 'premium' version and try to scam people with patreon, doesn't mean we should suddenly drop our guard. If something looks shady (which this does, extremely so) you shouldn't ignore those warnings and assume no foul, that's how you get fricked.

I ran my own audit, however their installer is explicitly built to only run on Windows. It's an electron app that has spoof system DLL files with a shell command that runs on boot, you can use 7zip to extract the package and view the contents without installing the app. The spoof DLL files appear to run some code and then point to the legit system level DLL, this is called DLL injection and is often used to hijack programs and change behavior. When windows is told to load a .dll, it will first check the exe's directory for .dll files of the same name, if it's found, regardless of the dll's actual contents, it will run it, if it's not it will go to the OS to ask for the installed system one. They use this to hijack and use elevated system privaleges to scrape for data and send it to a remote server. Since I didn't have a windows VM set-up for this I wasn't able to run and triage it, but the fact it has spoof system DLL files is a bigger red flag than you'd ever need.

The 'metadata' of the mod is also inconsistent with the packaging time, the metadata is a JSON and is modified compared to the actual packaged contents you can view with FModel. I confirmed how the metadata is generated by building my own mods with the updated modding kit. I didn't invest more time into seeing why they modified the data since it was assumed they may have stolen the mod, but I'm not sure. I think they just edited a provided sample mod (there's a few out there) which itself isn't shady. Wasn't able to find the source animation they imported to the metahuman importer, but dancing pole 3D models are plentiful online and easily accessible. (the reason I mention 'source animation' is because the animations don't align with the actual assets and stretch out the ZOI body, meaning it's likely a retargeted animation)

The'WickedZOI' .com are hosted by the same company, Spaceship.com, as inzoiresource.com, and domains purchased both through Spaceship, the .net is registered through NameCheap. Both are using Cloudflare to hide the server ip. inzoiresource is a site that re-posts mods from nexus/curseforge/other places without permission and monetizes them and It's likely these sites are connected as inzoiresource appeared to be the first site to ever post something about WickedZOI and is directly connected to the Twitter profile 'inZOINews'. both sites use store shop templates available through spaceship.

Wayback machine shows WickedZOI with the old scam site as new as April 20th 2026. - https://web.archive.org/web/20260420022235/https://wickedzoi.net/

This is just the new research though, everything else about it is super shady was well and I covered this in 2 posts over on Reddit.

So this is why we're not just skeptical, but preventing people from spreading the scam in our communities. WickedZOI is not a genuine project and is very clearly there to try and create victims, either through scamming you for your money or stealing your credentials with malware via the installer.

I understand for someone that's not part of the community and hasn't been around, that if you're desperate for an adult mod you'd be thinking 'I just want sex, so why so cautious?', but this is genuinely serious with a lot of data to back up the concerns. Think less with your privates and more with logic and be careful. Even if there's some legit mod provided in all of this, it's not uncommon to see scammers and malicious users create or steal a mod to then lure in victims (this happens daily with Sims 4 mods, and even sometimes from well known creators X.x)

If you downloaded the free thing they have and are happy with it, chill I guess, but don't try and downplay people's concerns or warnings just because you don't want to worry about it. Spreading ignorance is much more dangerous then asking people to be cautious.

Note for those curious what the 'mod' actually is, it's some animation replacers for the lay in bed interaction with romantic partners, and the pole is I think a dancepad? I didn't recognize the id myself and I'm not really bothered to check to be honest. lol And yes, to note the 'conflict of interest' here some may bring up because I'm working on NaughtyZOI... I'm working on NaughtyZOI because I was also scammed into thinking WickedZOI was real months prior, so here we are, full, fucking, circle. NaughtyZOI actually exists though (it's on our discord) and is based on Baking For Mara, another framework you can download and try if you'd like, though not much content for it yet.
