Being blunt, what is the point of using Pandora, if it can't make ZaZ8+ work?

Alternatively, if someone can tell me in words of one syllable which mod options to select to make it do so, please let me know 😉

 

I just want the ZAZ mod to appear in the MCM and the animations to be able to be registered to Sexlab AE 166b, and No!, I don't want to have to mess about trying to amend mod code etc

 

And did I say make it work as it always did before? 

 

Any help would be welcome ☺️

This is the point at which I could just chicken out and delete this, but for posterity, and the benefit of other idiots who might trail in my wake, note that the file entitled:

 

'ZAZ 8+ CBBE HDT REV3 Resource Patch v1' ..... is NOT the ZAZ pack you wish to install

 

What you really want is  ...... (hat tip to @Grey Cloud)

 

'ZaZ Animation Pack+ CBBE HDT V.8.0+SEREV3'

ZaZ Animation Pack+ CBBE HDT V.8.0+SE2023.7z

That latter works with the Nexus FNIS file....

 

'FNIS Behavior SE 7_6 XXL-3038-7-6-1582110624' 

 

TBH, I have not tried it again with Pandora, so whether it works now, or not - as it didn't seem to in the past, nor when I tried today - I do not know, and at my age life is too short to be faffing about trying to find out

The archive I have is "ZaZ Animation Pack+ CBBE HDT V.8.0+SE2023.7z".

I don't know what your SXL prefix is - never seen it before.

Oops!  Thanks.  That's my MO2 Prefix to identify/separate/Sort Sexlab mods from the rest.  I'll edit it   I've also updated to to the version you refer to - which has a similar esm date, but later folder dates than the one I included - and given the link for that

So its mid 2026 here, is the solution available or not (for Pandora)? Its ridiculous that everything works on Pandora except for ZaZ.

 

ZaZ is as old as ancient dust. It not working wouldn't bother me except for the fact that its essential for so many classic mods. The fact that it hasn't been patched to work with Pandora alone (FNIS is obsolete and people need to move on) is baffling. But LL isn't known to keep with the times

Well if you read this thread you would see that (a) the problem was not Pandora but the OP installing the wrong ZaZ file and (b) the solution to that problem was given.

Why? FNIS still does what it always did which includes working with ZaZ.

 

ZaZ was last updated in 2023 which hardly qualifies as 'ancient as dust'.

 

Nemesis is younger than FNIS and does not work with creatures so your 'newest is always bestiss' mindset is foolish.

What times are these? LL is a modding website which focuses on Bethesda games with Skyrim being the main game. When was the last time Bethesda released a game? LE is coming up 15 years old, SE 10 years and AE 5.

Wait, so “ZaZ Animation Pack+ CBBE HDT V.8.0+SE2023.7z” works fine with just Pandora? No patches or FNIS required? If so, then we good then! I’ll take all my criticisms back
