Kalmah's Contraptions and Animations ported to Display Model 3

Port of Kalmah's DD contraptions and animations from their Submissive Lola extensions as standalone furniture for I'll Take the Display Model (DM3). Kalmah was apparently in the process of converting all of their animations to DD, but they have not been logged into LL since 2022.

    Install Display Model 3 (https://github.com/darkconsole/dse-display-model)

     

    Run FNIS/Nemesis/Pandora

     

    Use AddItemMenu on the included .esp and pick your furniture. Also included is a patch for Paradise Halls Home Sweet Home, so that slaves will recognize and use the new furniture.

You can probably just merge the /meshes/ directory from Submissive Lola extension into this archive - nothing in the original Submissive Lola should be needed. I just didn't want to repack the files that were unchanged that I don't have permission to redistribute.

If it's not too much trouble, could you make a tutorial on how to do this?

Alright, thanks, seems simple enough, if all that is required are meshes.

Yes, that should work. And then zip it up and deploy that mod. You will still need the kalmah_contraptions mod and run FNIS.

 

Also, make sure you use the updated version, which removes kal_LolaAddon.esp as a master (it was unused).

Probably safe to ESL for Skyrim SE. Not safe to ESL in Skyrim VR, as JSONs do not work correctly from within an ESL in VR (VR doesn't have native ESL support).

I run pandora with this mod and it default/T poses my animations? 

 

I have display manager and everything working but I try to put this mod in it all breaks? IDK what I am doing wrong?

T pose for me too using FNIS but noticed it also complained the file wasn't SE compatible which may explain.

It looks like the animations were not correctly ported or converted, resulting in an FNIS error, resulting in an absolute need for all humanoid creatures to assert dominance over the poor frozen animals. (FNIS is telling me, the animations are not SE compatible.)

Yeah, I just tested it now in SE, and it does the same, the culprit is Kalmah v1. Oddly the animations work fine in VR, which is why I didn't initially catch this. Let me see if I can figure out how to port it to SE.

I forgot that I ported those animations to SE from the original kalmah_contraptions mod months ago. In any case, since there are so many patches and changes to get everything to work correctly in SE/VR, I've decided to go ahead and copy the dependencies into this mod, so there are no longer any dependencies beyond base DM3. Let me know if this works now.

FNIS throws up no problem, but loading a game results in a CTD. Can't try a new save file, because I don't want to challenge Todd, while my current play true is working fine. Still seems to be a FNIS issue. Other DM3 mods work fine. (I have a very large Modlist, so pinpointing any specific mod conflict is like searching for hay in a needle stack)

Make sure you don't have Kalmah's contraptions or Kalmah's original extension for Submissive Lola in your load order. They will cause a conflict as I had to copy the animobjects as is (without renaming) into the new ESP, since renaming them didn't work (the animations have the original animobjects baked in, it seems).
