"Player Gender" keeps getting changed to male

As the title says, the player gender setting keeps getting changed to male, which is annoying because my character is forced into male position during animations.

 

I've tried looking for a solution to fix this issue myself but I'm at a loss.

Your player gender setting is NOT your issue.

 

SexLab is a framework. That is, it is a mod designed to be called by other mods. In the case of SexLab it is designed so that every mod author doesn't have to bother to script sex into their mods - they just have to call SexLab instead.

 

It is those mods, and not SexLab, that determine your character's position during sex. Let me illustrate by telling you about one of my mods, Some Consensual Sex. When I first wrote the mod I set it up so that the player was in the "male" position for animations. However, after being asked by a number of friends I wrote a second version which was practically identical EXCEPT that the player is now in the "female" position in animations. I left both versions of them up and you can use them both in the same game (you just use different dialogue choices to get the different effects). SexLab didn't change. My player's gender didn't change. All that change was how I (as mod author) told SexLab to place the characters in an animation.

 

So, if you are unhappy with your animations what you really need is to find mods that put your character in the position that you want.

 

Now that I've said all that, if you're not averse to an hack, when an animation starts, and you find that the characters are not in the positions that you desire, hit the"+/=" key. It will immediately reverse the positions.
