fredrico798390 Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 I think some of the newer body mods are more compatible with the latest updates. I use Starqueen with good results. Not sure why the mod author removed it altogether.
Kain82 Posted June 6, 2025 Posted June 6, 2025 (edited) Yeah I did a quick google search and found the mods: https://allmods.net/starfield-mods/starfield-characters/crt-body-mesh-v1-1/ https://allmods.net/starfield-mods/starfield-characters/crt-skins-v1-0-1/ Edited June 6, 2025 by Kain82 2
Kraven12 Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 I am waiting on a universal accepted body slide and CBBE like mod
Tomomi 92 Posted July 30, 2025 Posted July 30, 2025 @Kraven12 I am fearful for Starfield community. I joined Skyrim 2 years after its launch. But the mod community was still at full spring, and continued for a good 5-6 years. Fallout 4's launch was enthusiastic. So many awesome content, including this "special interest" content, were being launched and supported. The first 2 years were running dizzying fast. Then Starfield, after a rocky launch, with awkward graphic and stability issues, the momentum already had a snatch. The usual enthusiastic people created nude mod on the first day in term of "barbie and ken" skin by doing a quick and dirty edit of the texture. Starfield was the first Bethesda game not offering a fully nude body at vanilla. Instead, it has the bra mesh built-in. I believe there were 3 separate creators attempting to make a complete proper nude body, CRT, VBB, and that one other muscular body mod with really weird breasts. CRT looks the best out of the whole bunch. But sadly most clothing modders don't support his CRT mesh for some reason. Everyone raced to support VBB. VBB, to this day, is still an enlarged vanilla mesh, not real proper body. You can still see the faint bra mesh at the cleavage area. Then, zone97, a prominent clothes creator, took it upon himself to create ZBB because of the lack of body mod choice. But ZBB, while looks better than VBB at the cleavage, is not a proper looking body mod. I just came back to Starfield for 2 weeks. I saw SFF. This body is incredible. The detailed sliders are built-in the game (require Chargen). Real 3D nipples (not just drawn on). But .... very sadly, no clothing modders support it. For some reason, zone97 doesn't like it at all. Perhaps he doens't know or want to work with BBL. Kryozet (another prominent clothing creator) also show no sign of willing to create refit for SFF. We don't have any other clothing creators (at least on Nexus). So I think the Starfield mod community (in regard to body mod) is going down hill even before it comes close to its supposed peak. What contributes to this? I say Creation Club. Creation Club (and XBOX) with its super strict PG-13 regulations would bark at anything remotely "skimpy" (yeah, vanilla Stellar Blade would be too much for them). So all creators working with them can only follow vanilla body shape and skin as standard. As of now, we got Starqueen as the main and only female skin. Slutfilled seems outdated and completely abandoned. CRT is abandoned. VBB and ZBB do not have their own skin. If you think this is bad, the male body mod sector is even more depressing. You cann't even find a proper body mod to use. All 3 are being abandoned, without even support for all vanilla outfits (which I see as standard).

Install any BGS game and look at the character creator and in game after. The underwear is baked on as the skin texture. Nudity has ALWAYS needed third party mods. Starfield is no different. I have played them all starting with Daggerfall. Morrowind, Oblivion (OG and Remaster), Skyrim, Fallout 3 (and New Vegas) and Fallout 4 and 76. None came with a nude body vanilla.

There was never a question they baked in the underwear texture with their naked_outfit. But I am talking about the mesh. Everyone can pain texture, I can too with Photoshop DDS plugin. But fixing the mesh seems to be much harder. I remember Dragon Age Origins came out 2009. The female model was a bit ridiculous with a very wide shoulder. Nevertheless, nude model came out incredibly quickly. And now, 2023 Starfield, same deal, but 2 years later, nobody is able to create a nude body? And Starqueen is simply painted skin on the bra mesh. Edited July 31, 2025 by Tomomi 92
nIn nIn nIn Posted August 1, 2025 Posted August 1, 2025 SFF Body Replacer at Starfield Nexus - Mods and Community

I googled for it too but apparently I suck at googling. But I still wonder why it was deleted from the Nexus.

Daggerfall had nudity (full for Character paperdolls) Battlespire showed upper nudity. You may have to have selected the option during install. I can't say in what state the free to download versions are in but the originals definitely had nudity.

Only Daggerfall??? there is one before that...... and the only one that showed the entire continent.

SFF, Vixen's Body Mesh, and the others don't use the standard body so to speak. CBBE, Fusion Girl, and others like them have the OG mesh in them. making it easier to create and map the clothing to them. 1

And granted this isn't Bethesda, but the original Fallouts had some pretty NSFW stuff too; become a porn star in Fallout 2, for instance. 1

But every game from Morrowind onward BGS supplied only a baked in safe for work skin texture. You had to install third party mods to get nudity in the games. That continues into Starfield. Everyone knows you have to download and install it yourself. People forget because the nude mods have been around for a long time, and many never even played Skyrim 100% vanilla.

Yeah, Bethesda/Microsoft fucking destroyed the modding scene for Starfield with their shitty Creation Club restrictions. But it's backfiring on them. Nobody trusts Bethesda/Microsoft anymore. And Starfield is making them a lot less money than Skyrim and Fallout 4. In fact a lot of gamers despise them with a passion due to what they've done to Starfield. And due to all the times they broke Fallout 4 and Skyrim for people who like to use mods. Edited July 9 by Joosh2021
