Could anyone help me with sharing a file of the Naughty Voices mod? I have tried to find it everywhere but I have had little success, as most links I found seem to be dead. Would greatly appreciate any help!

I believe that is now a Patreon exclusive for supporters of Migal.  It's no longer an open source, free to share mod.

 

It's probably against the TOS to ask for or supply it here.

Based on the reaction to the previous thread that asked the same question it never was supposed to be public. The issue with the archive was that there was no evidence of it being a Patreon-only thing. No readme, no install instructions, no author name, no "if you got this and didn't pay for it, it was stolen", no checksums to validate contents and source, ...

 

I suggested the author adds a readme file with the license information, as well as implementing a fingerprint to identify the leak. This didn't interest them in any way though, so I suppose this will just keep on happening in the future.

 

It's still available on multiple sites, both new and old versions.

I wasn't aware of a previous thread or the full history of the mod.  I got it through the author's Discord (yes, I'm a Patron).  You're right, he probably ought to have some sort of license or readme for it.

 

Never looked for it on other sites myself...

It was publicly available until mid 2023 when Robbie Reddit blew up Voice Emulation on Nexus.  It was never public afterward.

Everyone knows I made it.  Everyone knows I don't want it distributed publicly.  I'm well aware various pirated versions have been posted here, Reddit, and on multiple sites dedicated to mod piracy.

It was never about money.  I made far more money when it was an early access Patreon mod that went on Nexus after two weeks.  It was about me not wanting to piss off voice actors.

I made a new version when I came back from being sick between December 2024 and and June of 2026.  It's quite a bit better.  After I discovered the pirates were distributing the older versions openly, I decided I am the only person who will ever have that new version.  You couldn't pay me 10 grand to have it.  Why?  Because it will get shared and eventually wind up in the hands of a pirate and then the world will have it.
