Z0mBieP00Nani Posted May 17, 2025 Posted May 17, 2025 I'm using NBO and an NBO based outfit called Dagger Dancer. NPCs seem unaffected. This was not an issue when I was playing yesterday.
Deathstare Posted May 17, 2025 Posted May 17, 2025 (edited) i doubt this is the issue but I had some boots turn invisible on me after installing NBO. It was only that particular pair of boots and, after becoming invisible, they'd be invisible with or without NBO installed. They also were invisible equipped or unequipped, and when dropped the boots would just disappear. Getting a new pair fixed it. maybe that'll work here too. that's all i got Edited May 17, 2025 by Deathstare

I'm going to try and reload a save from before the time that this annoyance started. EDIT: Yeah, I got nothing on this. Loading a previous save seems to have no effect, jumping into the character creator and switching races doesn't cause the issue to go away, even removing both the NBO and Dagger Dancer mods, or other mods I installed before this was an issue, has no effect. Apparently, the game simply decided to fuck up, and that's that. I'm going to try creating a new character and see if that fixes things. EDIT 2: Ok, so when I tried creating a new character, something odd happened, not only did the body come back, but under the body type section it says type 1 and type 2 instead of male or female, even though I have a mod that patches that. Maybe that's where the issue is?... EDIT 3: Yeah, it looks like you were right... it's the armor mod I have installed, when I made my character completely naked, her body reappeared. I'm going to assume that the pair of boots that you had an issue with were also part of a mod. I think from this point on, I will not be installing any more mods that do not have a world model, because this makes me wonder if that is the issue. If the boots were not part of a mod, then this is an even bigger issue that apparently needs to be fixed, what if this happened with a piece of unique armor that you can't get a copy of, or something you spent resources on enchanting? Not good... EDIT 4: Ok, so I did some reading around on the Dagger Dancer mod page and apparently the issue has to do with the mod SyncMap injector, apparently the issue arises when you enchant armor that requires that mod. Still not good... I've decided to just uninstall the armor mod for the time being, until a fix is made. Edited May 17, 2025 by Z0mBieP00Nani
azmodan22 Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 I think I know what happened to you as it happened to me yesterady. I just loaded my game and the armor (Demoria) was invisible. All I did was to update a mod (respwning Nirnroot) in Nexus mod manager. What happened apparently is that NMM changed the load order. If you have a standalone armor (not a replacer) and you enchant it, if you change the load order the armor becomes invisible. You can add a new armor and it will show, but the old one will remain invisble. What happens is the the old has its form id "locked" and the first 2 digits of the form id are the previous load oder so the models don't show. Now if you remember the old load order (wich I am pretty sure you do not) you can just put it back to that. If you don't (like me) you change your armors .esp load order one at a time, get in geme and see if it works. In my case, I started from 17 (cus I reseted it in my attempt to fix it) and it finally worked at 39. Hope you got the game installed on SSD
