Slimreb Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 For some reason the creature animations are not working properly. The PC moves during the scenes but the creatures just stand still. I was using Nemesis with FNIS so switched to Pandora and still the same thing. Any ideals on what could be causing this?
Sp4ceSpectre Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Were your animations working at a prior point, or did you just set it up?
anjenthedog Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Do you have creature animations enabled in SL? (presuming of course, you're using SL... also presuming you have animations installed for creatures)

I do not know if the creature animations were working before as I had not done anything with that. The regular animations work correctly. 28 minutes ago, anjenthedog said: Do you have creature animations enabled in SL? (presuming of course, you're using SL... also presuming you have animations installed for creatures) I do have the creature animations enabled in SL. SLAL shows I have 800+ creature animations. I am using a modified Eldergleam mod list. I had creatures working in a previous mod list that I put together, but was only using FNIS on that. The scenes do play for the creatures but they just stand still with no movement. 1
anjenthedog Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 (edited) hmmm... have you tried rebooting the creatures in FNIS and or Creature Framework? (edit: especially in light of... "I do not know if the creature animations were working before as I had not done anything with that") And if you already have, then it's possible you'll need to perform a full cleanup in SL, (which will, as a byproduct, clear your animation registraiton list), then reselect and re-register your animations to determine if that might be an issue. Slimreb Posted May 12, 2025 Author Posted May 12, 2025 I re-installed the FNIS Creature Framework even though Pandora shouldn't need it. From testing the scenes are working for Horkers and Horses so far. The scenes are not working for dogs though. They just stand there. I am guessing there is a mod messing with how dogs behave.

If you change your behavior engine at all, or add/remove animation mods, you need to generate new behaviors or else none of your animations will work at all.
Slimreb Posted May 13, 2025 Author Posted May 13, 2025 Thank you all for the assistance on this matter. The animations are working correctly now.
