titlover123 Posted May 9, 2025 Posted May 9, 2025 (edited) I have recently gotten back from a pretty long skyrim hiatus and decided to run all my things just to be sure everything still worked as it was supposed to, FNIS, Bodyslide and LOOT. So I made a new save and now my character's left or right boob will ALWAYS move as if I have BBP installed even though I have not, what makes it really stange is that it is always only 1 boob that acts this way, I cannot for the life of me find out what is doing this and it is annoying me to no end that my characters will now always have a single boob facing a different direction than the other. Any help with this would be amazing, I do not like the BBP stuff, it messes with my head for some reason... LoadOrder_Skyrim_2025-05-09T19-22-22.tx Edit: in case I did not make it clear, I want my characters top and bottom parts to move TOGETHER instead of separately, so telling me to use more bodies with more bones or telling me to switch my body mod away from CBBE probably won't help. Kastagir Posted May 10, 2025 Posted May 10, 2025 HDT (whether -PE or -SMP) is not the same thing as BBP. They use different bones to move the breasts. Clarify your terminology or provide more information if you don't know the difference. BBP is provided by a BBP-weighted mesh included in a body replacer. Your load order suggests you may be using CBBE but I don't see the CBBE mod in your plugin list. HDT-PE and HDT-SMP use .dll files and .xml configuration files for functionality, so providing a plugin load order is irrelevant since .dll files aren't listed. You should do the following to get useful help: clarify what physics system you are using, whether BBP, TBBP, HDT-PE or HDT-SMP and which mods you installed to enable functionality verify what body replacer you are using (link to the mod) if any provide more detail on the circumstances of the problem you're describing. For example, is it only when the character is naked, or with certain outfits? You have installed XPMSE, which will enable physics for mods that use it even if you're not using a body replacer.

Sorry, I am not really used to asking for this kind of help, now, I am using smp and I am only using the regular CBBE curvy body, the problem is consistent, naked... clothed... it matters not one boob will always be moving separately from the other, in a way that it is very much not supposed to mind you, like 1 boob is facing the right way and the other is facing 45 degrees away from the body. I have also gone through my SMP mod and have disabled it's optional BBP, I even fully uninstalled it and then reinstalled it (without the BBP enabled) and ran bodyslide but the problem keeps happening SMP mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77445 (used due to being easier to use than normal SMP) CBBE mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2666 (Latest version, regular curvy preset)

Have tried to get in contact with the mod author for a while now and no luck so far. Also where should I look for the .xml file? I am not very familiar with what could be called 'advanced modding' I am used to a sort of plug-and-play type of modding, the most I've done when it comes to modding is configuring my ENB and even then I was following a guide step-by-step... Edit: sorry for the long response time, life dragged me away by the ear. Edited May 30, 2025 by titlover123

I don't understand, how will this help me with my HDT problem? It simply illustrates the various steps to use an HDT-SMP body correctly. From your log, you can see the use of HDT-SMP (COCO) clothes which, if not installed correctly, can only cause problems/disturbances in operation (as specified by you) If you are using HDT-SMP, just go to Skyrim data\SKSE\Plugins, locate the log hdtSkinnedMesh(something like that) to see everything that is not working properly

I am going to see if my issue is version specific, who know, downgrading my SMP mod might fix the issue, stranger thing have happened... hdtSkinnedMeshPhysics.log

The log says that some files for HDT-SMP are missing. Finding what is missing is not easy. To locate it, one should proceed step by step From a new game, create a female character (even in Default), undress it, wait a few seconds, exit the game and inspect the log (it resets itself after each game). Once this is done, resume the game and dress the character in an SMP(COCO) outfit with AddItemMenu . As before, exit and inspect the log If you installed SMP with a mod manager, uninstall and manually reinstall only the necessary folders, indicated in the link shown above . Solution, by the way, found on the Nexus forum

Solution, by the way, found on the Nexus forum I managed to find what was causing the issues... it was my hair mod... I reinstalled it BBP fix file 2 times and now the body physics work like they should, but, now my hdt hair is going crazy... I swear, if it's not one thing then it's another...
titlover123 Posted June 1, 2025 Author Posted June 1, 2025 Still have the rare occasion of "wandering boob" but at least it's now more manageable, a quick crouch and un-crouch fixes it, also the hair issue I wrote about above? yeah... it was linked to my FPS... capped it at 55 for the time being and so far nothing too bad has happened.
