Best nude mod possible?

No.

Not possible.

With or without permission of the original modder does not matter one bit.

Simply put just because a game uses the same game engine as another game it is VERY RARELY EVEN POSSIBLE to transplant mere assets from one to another without issues.

Game developers take a game engine and use certain features within it to make their game.

Other game developers for another game using the same game engine use different features or use the same features differently.

And btw. Oblivion Remastered is a special case.

It does not only use the unreal engine, it also uses the gamebryo engine.

Meaning it is not fully comparable to Expedition 33 in the first place ...

NEIN.

Especially considering that the developers of this (Indy) game had chosen the release date in such a way that they wouldn't get in the way of any of the big studios (in terms of timing)... but now, due to the sudden hype surrounding the "Oblivion Remaster," they are practically invisible.

Yeah, the Oblivion shadow drop timing was unfortunate for them, but I wouldn't say the game is "invisible". It's doing well on Steam charts and looks like a GOTY candidate.

Roughly half of the number Oblivion got would have been on Expedition 33 if it wasn't for the shadow drop.

Meaning it would not be on place 10 but on place 7 or something like that.

THAT is what he meant.

Regardless for serious nude mods you'd have to wait like everybody else until the nude mods specifically done for oblivion remastered are done as you can't take the ones from other games just because it uses the same engine.

GTA5 mods do not work in Red Dead Redemption 2 either despite having the same engine, hell they even have the same development studio.

I just saw this mod for Expedition 33.

I'm not a modder myself, so I might be completely off, but given that both games run on the Unreal engine, would it be possible to port this (with the modder's permission, of course) to Oblivion?

As the others have pointed out, a direct port isn't possible, however there may be another way. There is already a mod out, Natural Bodies of Oblivion, that has slider morph support. Right now this is the closest we have to something like Bodyslide is for Skyrim/Fallout 4. It is pretty robust and yet still primitive right now but will very likely get better. If we eventually get something like Bodyslide that will be even better. Then you won't need to port over whole bodies from other games. You can just sculpt it however you want. The cherry on top would be if we got OutfitStudio for Oblivion as well. With that you can soft-sculpt the mesh directly with brushes and tools similar to what you would have in Blender. At that point you not even limited to what sliders can do but ultimately the power of your imagination and skill at using the sculpting tools.

It was actually stated that the shadow drop of Oblivion helped E33s success. Everyone is talking about it, so I dunno where it being invisible is coming from. As for me, I was playing both off and on till I eventually finished 33.

It's a mesh and some textures, of course it's possible it's just nowhere near worth the work as it'd almost assuredly require a real 3D artist type to weight/rig the whole thing which is nightmare mode.

NBO is good and the morphs are solid and so on. Needs armors converted/built for its morphs and it'll be set like Starfield or Skyrim. (Though NBO is a good deal better already than Starfields' meager offerings)
