Plaguetard2.0 Posted May 6, 2025 Posted May 6, 2025 So, I'm like 20-30 hours in, and suddenly, post animation from a defeat, the breast, belly, butt physics are going all over the place. I am using SL Defeat, and SL, not OStim. I have had numerous animations run before and this doesn't seem to be happening. Did some testing, and it seems, from this save point, every animation, even without defeat, results in this physics issue. I've changed no mods. I tried using SMP 'reset' option, didn't seem to do much. Does anyone know a workaround for this? Or a way to make it stop happening if I load a save prior to an animation triggering?
traison Posted May 6, 2025 Posted May 6, 2025 (edited) Do this before and after an animation, i.e. with working physics and again with spazzing physics: Open console. prid 14 inv Make a list of all items marked "worn". Compare the 2 lists, spot the differences; what was added, what was removed. Inspect these items for referenced physics presets. If you're running a hybrid physics system, you can further limit the options by disabling one of them and testing again, i.e. disable SMP and see if the problem is still present with only CPBC (and the other way around). Edit: and when I say disable I mean remove their dll file. I wouldn't trust ticking a box in an MCM. Edited May 6, 2025 by traison 1
anjenthedog Posted May 7, 2025 Posted May 7, 2025 (edited) For immediate relief from an outburst of destabilized hdt/smp, try console >>> smp reset *note: this may only temporarily solve it, so any underlying problems will need resolved if it continues to be a problem. Some destabilizing can be expected, since the current clamping and autozeroing functions (limits output swing and resets discrete integration errors, respectively) are (at least imo) still inadequate and/or "ini" files are overly opaque to the end user for solving/configuring by the average skyrim player. (even "smart" ones) ex: in my game, even the player's own arm comes within several scale-inches of her breast, and they push away like they were being shoved by a hydraulic ram... this is default collision behavior btw...default ffs) Edited May 7, 2025 by anjenthedog 1

Even though I was able to resolve it for the moment, I also tried this on the current save that was bugged, and this seemed to resolve it on the save with the crazy physics happening to begin with. Thank you to both!
