nilead Posted May 5, 2025 Posted May 5, 2025 Its all in the title. Premise is as follows - between precision and modern combat overhauls for Skyrim (i use BFCO+Elden Rim with some additions for parries, counters etc) combat no longer sucks. Unfortunatly, no perk overhauls respect those capabilities, so we still have the old numbers creep with occasional fun sprinkled in. So, with the power of OAR at my side and stubborn refusal to stop indefinetly rebuilding Skyrim, ive set off to butcher SkyRe AE to try and rectify it. Problem surfaced while looking at dual wielding, specificly, trying to restrict it to those who at least reasonably proficient in one handed. Given "Moves, not numbers" approach, i needed a dual wielding animation where a peasant tries to DW, with all the grace and elegance one could expect of soeone barely knowing wich side of the single blade to stab with, let alone wield two simultaniously. And found jack. There are tons of cool stuff, complicated movesets and combopaths with blinks, i-frames, woven in spells and others stuff. But i need the opposite, reasonably looking animated incompetence. 1
FauxFurry Posted May 6, 2025 Posted May 6, 2025 The closest thing to what you want is Skill Based Dynamic Animations. You will have to replace a few animations to preserve your preferred dual wielding animation, of course. Skill Based Dynamic Animations at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community 1

Generally, is not the folder setups i look for, those i can arrange myself. What i need is animation files themselves.
