Tattman Posted May 5, 2025 Posted May 5, 2025 Hi, my pc had a baby a couple of weeks ago. It finally grew enough to walk and run around. I was asked to name him. I did. The name only stuck until my next playthrough. It reverted back to "Asian Offspring" I have searched the internet, and tried everything said on other forums talking about setname, or setactorfullname, but only the setname worked, again until my next playthrough wherein it had reverted again. Is there any way to make his name stay? IF anyone mentions GECK, I opened that once a while back and could not figure it out, so if mentioned, I would definitely need a walkthrough on how to use it to rename. I hope someone can help. Thank you for reading and hopefully helping.
Neutron_rus Posted May 5, 2025 Posted May 5, 2025 (edited) renaming dynamic npc with regular tools is tricky as their name gets reset every session, Offspring can remember names in multiple sessions as long as this dynamic npc was named with Offspring's own script and have the same dynamic id (that might be hard to achieve with many active mods) offspring's way to rename and remember name is, click on npc to rename in console, then additem SexoutOffSpringRenameToken 1 close console and rename menu should pop up if name still will be resetting, you can try this version SexoutOffSpring.esm Edited May 5, 2025 by Neutron_rus

Thank you once again!
