V-Rising Lewd Mods

I am basically wanting to request modders make some lewd mods for V-Rising. Ideally get some sexual content style mods, but idk how likely they would be to make. There has been some promise with nude mods here 

And there have been some pretty extensive mods on the Thunderstore made for V-Rising so far, maybe we can get some lewd animations and such too, with the whole vampiric thing, seduction kinda goes hand in hand.

Could even title a sex mod for V - Rising "Vampiric Seduction" or "D Rising" if you want to be crude lol.

I figured this would've generated particular interest with the current systems in place allowing you to now dominate ANY creature in V Rising.

Depends on the person, but let's imagine it's the average for a programming job. Making a fully featured mod for a game that doesn't even give Creation Suite type modding support will take hours upon hours of work not to mention upkeep, so let's say $30+ USD per hour for 100 hours to start with?

Well, few things, a question and then... well, hypothetical I guess.

1. Do you personally have the skills to theoretically make this mod? 

Ironically enough, the price would be doable for me, but there isn't anything saying at that point that the mod would be strictly mine, or are we going with the assumption if I have paid for it, the mod is 100% mine and could only be redistributed by me? I.E. I could theoretically pay the approximate $3k to have the mod made and essentially lock it behind a Patreon paywall and redistribute it that way. Also would we be paying the $30 an hour quite literally per hour, or would it be more like a pre-agreed sum. Would it have to be paid all at once or could it be paid over time? (Personally, I think having an aforementioned agreed upon sum is the best policy to protect the consumer. Paying hourly without a cap so to speak could lead to a programmer deciding to drag ass and milk money from the consumer without any tangible results. You see it with a lot of indie games on patreon where they get popular, start making a bunch of money, and then development all of a sudden slows down to a crawl where some games having years between updates just to keep the free dosh rolling. Been burned by a few indie games I've supported over the years that have done this.)

I'll even... I guess... simplify things somewhat. What about just paying for more or less a sex framework that other modders could build off of, similar to how Sexlab works for Skyrim. How much time would that approximately take and would the price be different?

Like I, and I think even @blerbman (Forgive me if I'm not representing you correctly and please correct me if I am wrong) and many others might be interested in footing the bill so to speak for a V- Rising Lewd mod, or even donating to like a patreon or something for the development of one.

Hmmm, without a SDK/toolkit for this game wouldn't you more or less need sourcecode access? Unless the devs used a completely bog-standard, unaltered version of Unity, aren't there quite a few unknowns as to how the game would even handle certain interactions, calls, or script functions?

 

Granted, take this with a massive grain of salt since I am not a programmer by trade and while I have an education in a few programming languages, I am not familiar with Unity or making mods for that engine.

Gonna go on the assumption that no one here so far is willing or has the ability (I mean no offense! lol) to make a sex mod for V-Rising even with monetary incentive.

Whelp... so... I have some ideas on how a sex mod might work for V Rising using in game systems and potentially custom chat commands.

So I know there are some roleplay mods and other mods people use where they'll do things like "pvp.on" to toggle themselves as wanting to PvP and such, this is important because it feeds into player preferences for a mod like this.

So basically the initial version might be something like... replacing the standard feeding animation with a lewd animation. The ending of the animation being the climax. This does mean all the Vampires will be the dominants in this base system, so no real submissive play for those that want that. The mechanic for feeding would work the same, you get the Blood Type and Quality and everything, but just the animation and maybe visual effects change. With console commands you could set preferences for which animations you want though. For example a "Hetero.on." Command might flag you for only wanting to engage in Hetero animations. Maybe you want some male on male action and go "Gay.on" to turn on the Gay flag for your character so you only engage in Male x Male animations when feeding. Since there are animals in this game there would need to be a Bestiality toggle command cause not everyone wants to bang a wolf in the forest, or hell could even leave the beasts out of it, but they do make up at least 15-20% of the game's enemies I want to say.

Essentially the animation would boil down to this, and there can be different types of animations and a whole randomizer of which animation it picks but I'm going with a standard V Penetration animation missionary style with a male vampire as my example. So normally you can end a feeding session prematurely with a bite, well, I'm going to say instead of ending it with a bite, you end it by pulling out. So the bite would be replaced with a quick pull out animation or something.

Its a very simple idea of how one might incorporate some sexual gameplay into the base game. With those toggles, it can also basically swap between the standard feeding animation and the sexual one.

The only issue I can really see is using this mod on a multiplayer server or something, in relation specifically to the V-Bloods. My solution is to perhaps turn it into a sort of orgy or gangbang sort of animation? So basically make it where each V-Blood's down animation is a sexual animation that could fit multiple partners into it. So... in the case of say... Lidia the Chaos Archer, if she got jumped by 4 male vampires and they were all feeding on her. She would adopt maybe a cowgirl riding position on the first one to initiate the feeding, the second one would be positioned behind her, and the other two would be on either side of her.

Anyway thats my initial idea on how that might work?

I mean really, I think just setting up a patreon while working on it would be more than enough to garner payment for the mod's completion. That way multiple people can contribute to its funding and can support it for as long as they want.

Lock the mod behind a minimum of $10... you get 300 people to donate and boom thats your $3k right there. Or hell, you get 100 people to donate for 3 months, boom thats your $3k.

Like i said though, I'd be willing to put down some cash to fund the development of a lewd mod for V-Rising.

btw, there is a Nude mod for V rising, not sure if its operational or not, but that IS being worked on. I dont remember the post name off the top of my head but its here on LL!

I've seen a post here where the creator has done some topless stuff, but the topic seems to be dead.

It also reads, that the existing mod isn't running anymore due to not upgrading after patches.

 Or do you mean another one?

Wait I'm an idiot, I literally linked it in my initial post... ugggh wake up brain is not good brain lol.

Oakveil Invaders is still pretty new so I imagine it might just take a bit of time for it to update.

There are quite a few mods already out for V Rising that already offer some modular changes like Bloodcraft I believe adds an entire leveling system to the game. So its possible to change core gameplay mechanics, and by evidence of the nude mod, its possible to swap models. So modding the game is entirely possible, its just figuring out HOW to mod it.

well, but i really enjoy playing this one right now, im 85 hours in and i am not willing to end it soon, so a nice nude mod would really pump up my experience  or a lewd mod of course!

I mean a bunch of different mods would really prolong V Rising's life span. Devs really need to drop the source code or some mod kits or something
