xeosp++ is an npc overhaul mod developed by bw from 3dm: http://bbs.3dmgame.com/thread-1957063-1-1.html

 

Basicly, xeosp++ is a review of popular XEOSP mod (which modifies every npc in the game and makes them more beautiful and in anime style). The difference from XEO/XEOSP, it is more lore friendly (beggars and some other npcs are not "hot" looking), it adds facial hair and it's far less conflictive with other mods (no problems with MBP), as it is based on a bsa archive.

 

Requirements:

XEOSP: rapidshare|filesonic|oron (uploaded by thesin)

Robert Male Body: link below

F-INevOblivionSkinset by navetsea: links below

OBSE 1.8 or greater: http://obse.silverlock.org

 

Installation:

1)Download and install xeosp

2a)Delete Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\Meshes\Characters\XEOM folder

2b)Delete Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\Textures\XEOT folder

2c)Delete xeox.esp

3)Download and install xeosp++.bsa archive to your Oblivion/Data folder: megaupload|u115 (uploaded by polynikes)

4)In OBMM set archive invalidation to BSA alteration, check everything like on the picture below, click on "Remove BSA Edits" and on "Update Now"

5)OPTIONAL: Install Robert Male Body Replacer v4: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14942

6)OPTIONAL: Install F-INev Oblivion Skinset: tesnexus|omod from u115

7)Install textures/meshes update from 17.05.2011 : megaupload

8)Install one of these xeosp++.esp files (and textures/meshes if you install modified english version):

It uses medium bsa compression I guess, compressed well it would take 800-900mb. Still the bsa contains almost every beauty pack available (mbp, mbp++, some stuff from x117)

Well, I dont know about F-INev (I guess its needed for better face/body colour match) but Robert Male Body is needed, "physique mod must be installed - if you do not install if the original character of the stature and the map will tragedy!" says the google translator, map tragedy part sounds pretty scary  ;D

Well I don't use it, and it works well, so... 

(the only other mod I'm using being MBP1.4aFull&MBP++0.90&x117++0.76a)

You were using both xeox.esp and xeosp++.esp and now switched to xeo5 xeox.esp? How have you managed to get 2 Valerias?

Sorry, my mistake. I was using Xeo5, I deleted all files from Xeo5 and installed XeoSP and XeoSP++ in the way you described. I don't remember clearly how I managed to get those 2 in one game but I think I reinstalled Xeo5 and then reloaded the save game.

well, try disabling xeox.esp (or xeosp++.esp not sure which one you are using now), loading game without xeo, saving again and then enabling .esp and loading.

If it doesnt help you always can try manually modify her face with tes.

For that you will need to modify ConstructionSet.ini (usually located in Documents/My Games/Oblivion. In ConstructionSet.ini find the line "bAllowMultipleEditors=0" and change it to "bAllowMultipleEditors=1". Now you can run multiple editors at the same time.

 

Next step - open the .esp file that contains desired Valeria's face (for example vanilla xeo5 or my modified .esp), dont set it as active file, just open it.

In object window go to Actors->NPC->XEO->Female and open the only one npc that appears there. Check the preview: head box and go to Face Advanced. Click on Copy and close npc window by now.

 

Open another editor (without closing the previous one), select the .esp you are currently using, set is as an active file, go to Actors->NPC->XEO->Female and open the GGC npc (dont forget to check preview: head before you are opening Face Advanced tab, because tes crashes sometimes if you go directly to Face tab). Click on Face Advanced, Paste and select Hair: xeohair and eyes: dont remember the exact name, check it in the other editor with xeo5 valerias face. Save your .esp and make sure its one of the mods at the bottom of load order.

 

In case if your esp was already containing xeo5 face and it wasnt displaying it, try modifying save game with wrye bash:

go to Saves tab, select your save and in list of mods saved with this save file (lol used 5 times word "save" in same sentence, really should get some sleep), find xeox.esp (or xeosp++.esp), right click, disable and then click Save (lol, 6 times now). That should dump everything from xeo/xeosp in your savegame file. You will probably need to recruit Valeria again after this.

Most of them have the eye-problem. A few are ok, but only those with default brown.

 

The problem persists even after loading xeosp++ last, and after adding some bash tags like eyes or face...

Make sure you have activate Archive Invalidation -BSA alteration- with all File types to included corners marked in your mod manager.

And not other mod is overwrithing your Races files.

Yes Chekist, it works and she has her red hairstyle and the right eyes. The only thing is, her face is different. I will check if I can do something using WyreBash's face import, or otherwise, I can live with it.

Yeah tried that, and still no luck :\. The walks work for all the other mods, just doesn't work for XEOSP++.

 

I'll just try reinstalling xeosp++ again and see what happens, hopefully it will work.

The formentioned mod required the xeoex.esp for a master. there seems to be a conflict somewhere. It gives the female guard some hair with pony tails, but the top of thier heads are bald. Like theres a clipping issue, but it dosnt look like there should be a clipping issue.

Oddly enough, I get the big problem of both male and females are using the same animation for walking.... >>

 

Disabled it and loaded another animation replacer...

 

@frog, there are times where you can't get the meshes to work in xeoSP++ as I found out. Something had prevent XeoSP++ loaded. But you are right. You can only have SP or SP++, not both.
