[SOLVED] BHUNP not working

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Problem is exactly what the title says. that even though I am using BHUNP with nude settings, the body doesn't replace. it's still vanilla body with just the skin mod that i use and yes i have batch built the BHUNP bodies through Bodyslide.

Here's an Screenshot of my list:

You can see i have Fair Skin there too and BnP female skin too that's because i tried changing the skins and it worked just fine, changing skins did change the skin mesh in-game however the body remains the same.

there's also some conflicts with the BHUNP mod which i don't think matters much but here's a preview (idk how to copy the conflict info)

i've tried changing skin mods, disabling-enabling them, loading them before and after each other. there's still vanilla body with skin mesh whichever i used.

Ask me anything you're confused about and I appreciate the read. Thanks!

!!!!!SOLVED: had the wrong data folder selected in bodyslide, just go to settings and change it from skyrim's SE directory (or whatever else) to skyrimse/data!

btw y'all can suggest me some better/updated alternatives to BHUNP if this one isn't working. or has some issues/complexicities.

I'm just looking for any good-looking SMP supported body that isn't too hentai'd or unrealistic.

Thanks!

It's likely that those conflicts are breaking and maybe even forcing disabling of BHUNP's plugins. Resolve them using whichever tools MO2 and standalone LOOT provide (I use vortex so have no idea how in MO2 or whatever)

  1. Get More Informative Console.
  2. Start the game, load your save.
  3. Open the console.
  4. prid 14
  5. Use MIC to find your race record form id.
  6. Open xEdit, don't change the load order.
  7. Browse to the RACE record you found earlier.
  8. Find the ARMO record assigned to the Skin field of this race.
  9. Find all associated ARMA records.

BHUNP most likely builds to "meshes\actors\charcter\character assets\femalebody_1.nif" like any other body mod. If the ARMA records of the naked armor assigned to your race points somewhere else, that's the sourceo f your problem. xEdit will show which mod the edits are coming from once you find it.

In other words, "Race-based Textures" looks suspicious.

uhh i'm abit confused here, what's point#4? it just says "prid 14" do i have to type that in console or what? also how do i find race record ID? my character has Nord race so i can just search nord id, right? or is there another procedure?

also, RbT has no issues here since i disabled it and it wasn't working, i also installed PureSkin after disabling Racebased textures and it did nothing other than skinning the vanilla body with Pureskin.

I use loot and have sorted the plugins according to it. I have tried to move BHUNP before and after it's conflicting mods and yet nothing changes.

Prid. Yes it's a console command.

Theoretically, assuming you know with 100% certainty you don't have a mod with another race also called Nord, or a mod that changes another race, say Redguard to be called Nord instead. There's about a hundered reasons to not make this assumption, one of which is that it's really easy to check it.

MIC shows it to you after you've issued prid 14.

MIC can most likely also show you where the current body mesh is coming from. But it probably won't show you why its not the default file path, for that you still need my instructions above.

Missing master plugin most likely.

Otherwise get a crash logger.

btw my MIC is not showing race record ID, instead it's showing Base ref form ID, is it the same? (also the MIC isn't telling me where the mesh is coming from)

Press LShift on the race list item.

managed to get the it working, bodyslide basically had the game's main folder selected as data folder found it cause the meshes folder looked abit odd in my game's directory. however as happy as i was, when i ran the game after selecting the correct data folder, i saw that the vanilla bodies were no more but the bodies were weird, there's no nipples on player's breast, the bottom have a underwear-shaped seam and inner thighs looked overlapped or some sort. I launched up bodyslide to see what's on and previewed the BHUNP female body ver 4

This was the body:

and when i previewed different presets, i saw that all of them had this same body, and changing sliders didn't make any difference, any clue?
