Body Physics with Lorerim

So, I'm trying to add some basic NSFW stuff to the Lorerim mod pack.

I've set up Bodyslide to export to a new mod which is overriding the female body mesh/textures, I export, everything shows up in game, but with no physics. I'm trying using the basic CBBE Physics and CBBE Special meshes in Bodyslide. The Lorerim mod pack already includes both the xp32 skeleton and Faster HDT-SMP... which is everything needed for those bodies to work as far as I know.

I'm a little bit rusty at modding skyrim, and this is my first time using a modpack as complex as Lorerim. I'm probably missing something.

Is there a guide for getting basic NSFW stuff going for Lorerim somewhere?

Im pretty sure you need CBPC for body physics to work, you have it?

And just for recomendation, you could look up for 3BA or BHUNP , those have more physics nodes than CBBE Physics and CBBE Special, I think its explained in the CBPC page.

Hope you can solve it!!

I would also recommend installing CBPC and sticking with CBBE and upgrading to 3BA since Lorerim is already using CBBE. Another thing I remember having to do was deselecting all boxes from "CBBE Body" to "CBBE Hands Beast 1st Person" in Bodyslide, then selecting all from "CBBE 3BBB Body Amazing" to "CBBE 3BBB Hands Beast".

Its been a while since I modified my Lorerim install, and I'm not using the latest version, but I hope this helps!

Have it. Tried 3ba just for fun. Same issue. No physics.

No point in fine tuning the body to have more nodes unless the physics are working. I was gonna body shopping once I determined I could get any body physics working with FSMP - Faster HDT-SMP, the physics addon included with LoreRim.

(which CBBE specifically lists as a plugin it should work with for the physics enabled meshes)

you also have the mesh linked to an up-to-date XMPSSE skeleton? I used to mod UNP followers into BHUNP followers by direct mesh replacement (Bodyslide to dummy folderthen copied to the follower's mesh folder). What I didn't understand early on is that some fraction of follower mods specify the skeleton as a local asset (just like custom follower body meshes and textures are placed in the follower's asset folders), rather than pointing to player assets. If it "shipped" with its own skeleton, ie located in its own definitional meshes folder, you might want to try swapping it out (backed up first) for a copy of the player skeleton, as the one it came with might be out of date or intentionally "gimped" wrt to contemporary body type capabilities,

So currently I am experimenting with the player skeleton. I am aware some NPCs come with their own skeleton and was intending to find and change those once I have working physics meshes to do that with.

Lorerim includes, by default, all of the following:

XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended

Undeath - XPMSSE - Strange Runes - Skeleton Patch

XP32 Maximum Skeleton Lite

XPMSSE Spazzing Skeleton and Corpse Fix

XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended - Fixed Scripts

From my recollection of the past I've achieved perfect tiddy bounce before with just the XP32 skeleton, an HDT mod, and a physics-enabled body mesh. All of which I have here.

Unless I'm forgetting something (which is definitely possible) then the issue is likely that something in the Lorerim list is overriding some element of one of these mods which is necessary to achieve tiddy bounce. Lorerim is too complex for me to start overriding skeletons or moving important things around. I'll likely break a half a dozen things if I do. As much as I love bouncing booba, I only want to do it if I can integrate it seamlessly with this list.

What I tried thus far is doing what was in this reddit post:

Quote

Step 1: Use wabbajack to reinstall LoreRim with overwrite to get back to a clean slate.

Step 2: Right click at the bottom of the list to make a empty mod called "My Bodyslide"

Step 3: Run Bodyslide from MO2. Click Settings in the bottom left.

Step 4: Change Game Data Path to your Lorerim\Stock Game\data folder

Step 5: Click advanced and change Output Path to Lorerim\mods\My Bodyslide Then click OK

Step 6: Clear the Filter Group by clicking the X and then type CBBE Body into the Filter Outfits box

Step 7: Select CBBE Body under Outfit/Body and whichever Preset you want under Preset (maybe Slim? IDK what the default for the list is)

Step 8: Click Build. Click OK. Exit Bodyslide.

Step 8: Enable the My Bodyslide mod in MO2.

Step 9: Enjoy

However, whether I do that or use 3BA, in both cases I get the new mesh and texture appearing in game on the player character perfectly, but no physics.

Seems like bad plan. The CBBE body is static

Try the CBBE Physics body instead, and make sure to use a CBBE-physics capable preset with it in Bodyslide. It's no full function 3BA/etc but at least you get some boob wubba with the physics enabled version.

(and if you happen to have CBBE-3BA or BHUNP installed, AND the follower's texture are compatible with your installed body type.  select its respective "3BBB amazing body").

In most cases, you'll also need to edit the mesh files after creating them in Bodyslide, using Nifskope (or similar?)  to maintain the proper linking to their custom textures, if they happen to use custom textures located in their own named-NPC texture folder(s) (can be ignored if they say they use player textures)

Afaik, old followers that came with their own skeletons were simply the skeleton type that was SOP at the time, so I just swapped their skeletons using a direct overwrite (after archiving the original in a backup sub folder just m'cuz)  as encountered, since I was updating from static UNP to BHUNP anyway. I suppose with the abundance of custom bodies these days, I might be a bit more cautious if I ran into one, since one (ie ME)  would assume they'd tweaked their custom skeletons (why else would they have them if produced today?) directly in that case..

I believe that others have suggested a better way is to redirect the skeleton sourcing via SSEdit and changing the skeleton source path (maybe? vague recollect) to the player folder, but I took the lazy route.

I know I'm late to the party but did you re run nemesis the animation engine?
