My Sims find themselves outside the house after having sex.

I'll explain to You when my sims have finished making love they instantly find themselves outside the house. Has anyone already had this problem and how to solve it ?

When you say "outside the house", is it like the bed they're having sex on is standing near a wall and when they're done, they're right outside, basically on the other side of the aforementioned wall? Because that's something I've seen in my game from time to time, same with them ending up behind sofas or on the other side of desks/tables. Might be something related to whichever animation ran last or it might just be the game getting confused sometimes (personally, my guess is the latter).

 

For me, moving around some furniture and making sure that there's enough space for my Sims to stand on the correct side of beds etc. (similar to how one needs to make sure that there's always an obvious path for Sims to walk anywhere) has greatly reduced instances of these things happening.

You can also disable some objects for autonomous sex, such as windows and doors, etc.

 

When I find my sims using these too often--and sometimes seeming to prefer going outside to a patio chair despite the freezing night of winter--I will use WW sex autonomy controls to "exclude object" from sex.

Indeed. I'm hoping my neighbours will forgive and forget the unfortunate "Afternoon front porch loveseat incident" eventually...

 

I always disable anything that is outside the front of my house and make sure plenty of indoor and back garden stuff has far higher odds of being used. now.
