What is it?

An enemy graphics replacement mod for the dungeon crawler game Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk (Steam version).

Although the game originally contained instances of nudity/suggestive elements, there were other times when it appeared to hold back. This mod adds explicit genitals or breasts to enemies where they would be reasonable and appropriate, along with other minor changes.

 

What is included?

A readme file of installation instructions as well as 3 separate 7zip archives: one for basic enemies, one for the rabbit enemies, and one for a specific boss. Also included is a general guide regarding graphics file data for anyone who might want to make their own mod in the future (as far as I can tell, this is the first graphical mod for Labyrinth of Refrain to exist, so this may not be commonly known information).

 

How is it used?

Unzip the archives, copy/paste the image files into the appropriate folders, overwriting the original graphics data. Note that you may want to back up the original graphics, just in case. Additional details are provided in the readme file, which you should read.

 

Other notes and potentially asked questions:

Q1: Where do the files go?

A1: Within the Labyrinth of Refrain Coven of Dusk folder, the images go into Media->D3D11->Majo->texture->model->enemy. This is also covered in the readme file.

 

Q2: Will you mod the sequel, Labyrinth of Galleria?

A2: I'd like to, but unlike Labyrinth of Refrain, the Galleria image data is wrapped in multiple layers of compression and encryption, and I still haven't been able to unpack the base data. If anyone has a way to do so, please let me know here.

 

This mod was made with a combination of manual editing and AI tool assistance (Stable Diffusion/ Automatic1111 web ui / Pony XL checkpoint / various LORAs).
