Pastrami5 Posted April 17, 2025 Posted April 17, 2025 Hey everyone! I recently had a bit of a mishap with my modlist—accidentally moved it to a different drive incorrectly and ended up losing my configuration. Thankfully, I didn't lose any actual mod files and since the list was pretty new, rebuilding it wasn't too painful. However, after getting things back up, I've run into a strange issue: whenever I click the left mouse button to attack, my character just blocks instead. Right-click still correctly triggers a power attack, which seems fine. But the thing is even if I equip a sword, left-clicking still makes me do an unarmed block animation, and right-clicking results in an unarmed power attack animation, which shouldn't be happening. Anyone have any idea what's causing this? I've included screenshots of my modlist and some MCM settings for reference. Any help would be greatly appreciated! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1INVKEv8N1MFpJKydzRTZwpAJPvU0Khhd/view?usp=sharing https://imgur.com/a/Spm4X4G
Kastagir Posted April 17, 2025 Posted April 17, 2025 (edited) Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the BFCO mod then resetting its settings? This mod is for SE and you've posted this in the tech support forum for Classic Skyrim/LE. If reinstalling the mod doesn't help you may be better served posting your issue in the proper forum for your game version: https://www.loverslab.com/forum/73-technical-support-skyrim-special-edition/. I don't use SE but if something like this happened to me, this is the procedure I'd use to troubleshoot it: uninstall the BFCO mod through its proper uninstallation procedure (see mod page) verify game files with Steam and confirm default button behavior is working reinstall BFCO mod and reset its settings Edited April 17, 2025 by Kastagir
