Which body is the most modern/ "best"

You're asking the wrong question.

What you need to do, is do your homework and find the outfits/armors that you want to have in the game.  Then see what bodies they're available for.  A lot of armors have conversions for both.

Only you know what armors you're going to like, so it's up to you to browse here and on Nexus to see what's available.

Well, based on my personal and very recent experience (this morning, lol) , I would say FG if you are also using hanky panky mods. For some reason I didn't have body physics during AAF scenes with CBBE, no matter what I tried.

I switched to Fusion Girl and physics worked no problem. I'm missing some bodyslide files now, but it looks very easy to convert them with Outfit Studio.

I'm on Fusion girl about 2 years. It's not only about nsfw content - for me body is looking more realistic than cbbe, but maybe I'm wrong. In the begining I struggled with outfits, but there are lot of conversions on Nexus and here as well. And it's really not hard make some simple conversions by yourself (look for Grafs guide.) Skin textures available as well, 8K FSM, Cridow, etc. Don't know about physics, because my pc can't hold stable 60pfs, so I'm playing without bouncy pouncy...2K face textures with High Poly Head working without any problems and neck seam is almost invisible for me.

You can always test both body mods.

CBBE/TWB has a vanilla slider, which is the most realistic body slider of them all - although I would never got full vanilla slider. TWB also has a lot of sliders for getting good thigh shapes (including the aforementioned vanilla slider) while Fusiongirl only lets you inflate or deflate them like balloons.

Fusiongirl's does have more realistic knee bending and breast movement built in, while CBBE/TWB/3BBB requires additional mods to achieve a fraction of their power. If you also plan to use Bodytalk for males, then you won't have to install an additional mod to use that and CBBE at the same time, since Bodytalk and Fusiongirl both use the same skeleton.
