From experience I can tell you that female sexuality is way more flexible than a lot of people realize. I actually used to date a lesbian (also a Tomboy), she was a lesbian long before I ever met her and I was the first and only man she ever dated. I just happened to be a very specific kind of guy that she found attractive, and we had a lot of common interests. At that point they are just attracted to you as a person. I've even heard of a life long lesbian marrying a man all while still being exclusively attracted to women. She just loved her husband because of the kind of person he is and that also made her sexually attracted to him, so their relationship worked. There's also such thing as situational sexuality, that's how things like prison romances happen, it's obviously not an ideal situation though. Ellie in particular has a strong fear of ending up alone, so It's not unthinkable that she would rather be in a relationship with a guy than be by herself, especially if they're compatible with each other. Dating in the post-apocalypse would be hard enough for straight people, she can't exactly be too picky. So there is a chance, albeit a small one.

 

In reality they can write whatever the hell they want, but I wouldn't count on them making Ellie get pregnant. Some people would perceive it as applying heteronormativity to a gay icon, and the writers would never do it lest they lose their precious progressive credentials and stamp of approval. Although I do agree a happier ending for Ellie where she ends up with her own child would be something I think a lot of people would really like. Perhaps she could meet a guy who reminds her a little of Joel, but obviously not too much like Joel because that would be weird. But I think overall people would welcome someone who can fill Joel's shoes as a protective partner for Ellie, because Dina just doesn't cut it. Even if it's a bit cliched for her to have a fairy tale ending, that would be a nice change in a series where the writers have been consistantly trying to subvert your expectations. In all likelihood they will just have Dina come back to her, even though I always felt like they had terrible chemistry and not much in common other than Dina also liking girls. Anyway, great topic for me to dish out my autistic ramblings.

It can effect the story sometimes like in the case of ellie getting pregnant. And like dingleberry pointed out having a girl like dina protecting ellie doesn't feel quite the same as having a man who is a little similar to joel doing it. At the very least naughty dog thought it was important enough to highlight in their game. I still like Ellie either way

Fuck yeah! Finally! Great job!

But I think there's some bugs that should be mentioned.

 

- she skips all her voicelines outside of cinematics

- footsteps are missing

- texture bug when the skin gets wet

 

The texture bug seems to have something to do with the Aquarium skin. That skin has the same bug when it gets wet.

I Think it would require some additional work., the topless model of Ellie essentially already existed in the game files and this mod just swaps it in for the one you're playing as. I'm not familiar with how modding for this game is done but it does seem possible to edit and replace meshes within the game. The underwear version of Ellie's model is naked underneath. One problem however is that model doesn't have nipples so those will need to be added and of course she'll need to be made anatomically correct downstairs as well. I think there's also a ring of texture and mesh missing from around her hips that would need to be fixed too. But that's the explanation for why a topless mod exists but no full nude yet, most of the work was already finished.

Looks that you know about mod this game, im looking for no backpack mod, hide or remove the backpack, i google it and looks that in nexus was one mod that doi it but its down the link, you know who or where can i request this mod (to do it or did it)?

I would check the nexus to see if that kind of mod exists. I'm at the mercy to modders as well so I've just bee hoping for an update that someone was able to make the nude mod happen.

If you looking for full nude its doesnt happen yet, i was try in nexus, kemono, gamebanana and here, so that you say we need wait, ill try with MMA mod for Ellie (looks  great) but i dont like the backpack so i ll wait if  any upload a mod without it

YES! I love all the work being done, but the models look like dudes if I'm being honest, and the last thing I want is a female nude mod that looks like a dude. I'd just have installed a nude male mod (if there was one) instead if I wanted my character to look like a nude dude.
