Skyttel Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I wonder if there is any or if someone is interested to make a classic striped prison uniform suitable for roleplay. Something like this.
myuhinny Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Well that would be a easy thing to do yourself all you will need is gimp with .dds plugin which is free so that you will be able to load the .dds files into. http://www.getgimp.com/ .dds plugin http://registry.gimp.org/node/70 how to install the plugin that you get and where it needs to go http://www.ehow.com/how_8340559_install-dds-plugin-gimp.html nifskope to see how it looks before putting it into game. http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope nifskope is free. First find a t-shirt mod unzip it turn on nifskope hit load and follow the folder paths till you find the meshes double click one and load it up go to render and go down to settings find the file and hit ok if it doesn't render try again selecting the next folder once you have it render in nifskope when you change things on the .dds file with gimp you will be able to check how it looks in nifskope. Now open gimp and drag the .dds file into it if it's the right one then you can start modifying it. If the t-shirt is ntot white you can hit colorize then move the top and bottom slider to the right and hit ok this will turn it white now use the lasso tool to make a rectangle square across the shirt and then connect the first dot by clicking it then use colorize and move the top and bottom slider to the left all the way this will turn the lassoed part black hit ok if you want to see how it looks click file in gimp and go down to overwrite .dds file this will make what you did to the .dds file show in nifskope. If you don't like how it looks you can select edit and go down to undo then overwrite and this will change the .dds file back to the way it was repeat till you are satisfied and overwrite for one last time and close it. If what you are doing to the .dds file doesn't show up in nifskope you will have to right click the piece that you are modifying go to node attach property and then select AddNiAlphaProperty to it if you have to add something to a nif you have to make sure to use the save as option to overwrite it and skyrim usually has 2 nifs per item piece so what you do to one nif you also need to do to the other one otherwise it will never show up in game.
Skyttel Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Well, I'm new to modding and the problem is to get the outfit. I'm having trouble finding a t-shirt mod since there's few and I need some pants also. Is it possible to combine t-shirt and pants into one outfit?
Guest Ragna_Rok Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Well, I'm new to modding and the problem is to get the outfit. I'm having trouble finding a t-shirt mod since there's few and I need some pants also. Is it possible to combine t-shirt and pants into one outfit? well, got no clue where to find a t-shirt... armor is linked to a single bodyslot (its called, surprise, "BODY")... which means that you can put a shirt and a trouser together. think of orcish armor. the chestplates, shoulderplates and that... mesh-cloth-trouser-crap ... can be made a single unit (and actually is in most of the cases i know) so YES on your last question ... *yoink!*
myuhinny Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Well some shirt mods will require searching through clothing as not all will have shirt in the title. the t-shirt ones that pop up in the search also come with blue jeans but the mods are got males. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim
