grainofsand Posted March 19, 2025 Posted March 19, 2025 BE is detecting this tuning error. Would this cause problems for my game?

In general, when you see "Expected X, got Y" invalid tuning reports, they almost always are just minor syntax errors; they mostly happen when a custom class tuning is used by a mod. BE reports them because technically they are errors, but 99% of the time they are harmless and you can ignore them, they tend to have no impact on the game.
orion75 Posted March 20, 2025 Posted March 20, 2025 I have the same message for WW . It also concerns 18 other animation packages (m24, luppobianco, dmort...). Pretty sure this is related to the issue i encounter since v184e (i started a topic about it). Nothing happens after asking for sex. So maybe are we in the 1%. 🙂

I had the same "expected T got E" report with one of my own custom tunings a while back, and it caused no issues, in fact everything worked fine. As I said, this is a small syntax mistake only, like, the variable in question is just defined as the wrong type, but the engine parsing the code is smart enough to understand it regardless. If you have problems with WW it's likely because some other underlying issues, not because of these small errors, especially that this has been there at least since v183a (which was back in, like, january)
orion75 Posted March 20, 2025 Posted March 20, 2025 (edited) Ok, you must be right. Thank you Peco for your answer. Edited March 20, 2025 by orion75
