Question about editing interactions and how to do it

What do I need to extract them from the game, what tools do I use to edit them, and how do I install them back?

No need to extract some 3rd party program that YOU needed to install to begin with. Just access the OG mod (copy).

 

What tools? Look up a modding tutorial.

 

Once ANY file had been modified just put it back in the mod folder like before and overwrite the old one. Can't guarantee any effects won't remain in a save which used the old file.

 

Too many variables and too little information.

 

Most things are handled with S3PE / Sims 3 Package Editor. I use it to look up info in mod archives to see the thumbnail for mod identification or occasionally to test a package file IF I suspect it's from the SIMS 4 as they appear identical to the eye as a package file.
