Some issues with KW Gameplay

I didn't know if I should post it on the KW topic or here, but I wanted to write it as I'm a bit disappointed by these problems for a long time on features I use in each game.

Acting career:
 With a female Sim as actress, I always have Denzel and David (maybe I forgot his name ^^) trying to woohoo together instead of doing it with Anna Moonshine who is totally useless. Of course, it doesn't work if we desactivate gay interactions or activate KW Accept Intercation.

I also don't really understands the last steps of this career. Swiftfingers tells me to watch, and no matter what I do next time he tells the same even if I got a promotion. Sometimes it works and I go on the next step where my Sim must participate but same problems it doesn't work perfectly for me 😵‍💫

Whore in a brothel:

When I hire one of my sims as whore assigned to a brothel, she's forced to go to the brothel at her work hours, that's ok. But she can't do anything else on her free time, she can't leave home for shopping for example.

Nudism:

Nude top and nude bottom from the CAS don't work correctly because I have no moddlet and no reaction from my sims, and I still need to move my or move my bottom if I want a naughty selfie. I remember in oldest versions of KW that I had the moddlet nude top and nude bottom and my sims reacted to this. I don't know what happened but it doesn't work anymore.

Oniki Kay never finished the Acting Career so iirc that’s where the functionality stops.

You might be using old resources mixed with new? The moodlets for naked top and bottom work fine, and Sims react to nude Sims with no issues for me. Are you using custom Body CAS parts? As of v0.7.6 and testing this beta of 438 there is no issue regarding Nudism or reaction or moodlets. If I had to guess this is an error within your own game and changes you’ve made at some point.

Not surprised if the nudism problem come from me, I downloaded so many things for a long time and don't remember exactly what I have. I also have 2 body CAS options, which is weird. I think one come from the packages, the other one should come from one sim I saved and I get from a previous installation.

 

I upload a screen of  all the nudism packages I have (I miss the part for male nude, but it's almost same than female packages).

 

Where I can find the v0.7.6 please ?

For the brothel worker, the way KW seems to work is that it keeps a brothel worker from leaving home outside of work hours, so that they are not off in some random location when it comes time for them to head to the brothel. This makes sense to do for non-active sims, but it makes it where you cannot really have a playable sim be a worker, due to the fact that they cannot freaking leave home.

 

The way it implements the restriction is that anytime it detects a worker off their home lot, it cancels all their interactions and pushes an action to go home. You can, sort of, override this behavior by canceling the action before they head off, but when it happens, it cancels anything you may have them doing, like eating, talking to another sim, etc.

 

It seems like everything about a brothel is intended for non-active sims, but it would be great if you could have a whole household of playable sims that all take roles in the brothel, and didn't have to hang around the house every single moment they weren't working.

Nudist:

 

This is an option for lot's.

 

It forces any sim entering the lot to change to 'A' nude outfit.

 

Not 'THE' nude outfit. I wanted accessories on my nude outfits like nails or some jewelry, but even when I customized the 'Naked' outfit, that is NOT the one KW uses when applying that script to a sim from THAT lot.

 

In other words KW creates an entirely new nude outfit that we players cannot access through the game or NRaas. That alone caused me to turn OFF that feature.

 

While I can't say if this is your problem - it is a fact and others can also read it.

If you use CAS to get nude, then KW has no way to know that your sims are nude. As far as KW is concerned, your sims are wearing an outfit from CAS. The only way that KW knows your sims are nude is if you use the Kinky > Exhibition... menu to make them get nude. Choosing the "nude" top and bottom from CAS just shows up as valid clothing items, as far as KW is concerned. KW does not include any special nude top or bottom, so it has no way of know that the items you have chosen to wear happen to be invisible.

 

When you use the KW menu options to get nude, your sims will get a moodlet, and sims will react.

...Was wondering about the nude thing...that sucks, like having my sleepwear being nude and, sometimes they'll just go out to grab mail or something half/fully naked and everyone is just acting like nothing is unusual. lol
