I don't like the new "Partner" title. Is there a mod that goes back to GF/BF titles?

Yeah, in the name of "inclusivity", EA made them all gender-neutral, even "sibling" and "child" and such.

Ironically, I find it less inclusive. I'm a guy and I hate being called neutral shit like "spouse" just as much as I'd hate being called "wife". If EA really wanted to do this right, they could have tied it to pronouns or even made it customizable in the same way – e.g. if the Sim uses "he/him", they use "masculine" terms. But once again they just wanted to look like they're so "forward-thinking" and "inclusive" while not actually being so.

(Sort of like how they'll address any kind of real-world culture in-game (mostly with food items) and even mention Hanukkah and Kwanzaa and stuff but fictionalize Christmas and Thanksgiving in Seasons... that to me is not more inclusive but less because you're deliberately leaving out entire groups of people, not to mention this is a fictional world where one would think our human religions and cultural shit like racism and all of that wouldn't exist, but if you're arguing that some exist, then they all should – I hate inconsistency more than anything but that's just a whole different issue I have with the game lol)
