Can't get sexutillabs.dll to load. Unable to figure out why.

Hello all, 

I've run into a problem that it seems that a lot of other people have seen, but I can't find a solution that works for me.  I am running Skyrim AE (I believe version 1.66).  I have downloaded and installed the latest sexlabs mod

SexLabFrameworkAE_v166b.7z

I also made sure that I have the latest skse and address extensions mods installed.  

Unfortunately, I am still getting the error.  I tried a few things, including installing sexlabspps instead but I am having no luck.   I used mod organizer 2 to install everything.  I even moved the sexlabstools plugin to the very bottom of the load order but no joy. I am using Nemesis to load my animations.   I'm not sure what else to try here.  

 

Any suggestions appreciated.

1. Check the product version of your SkyrimSE.exe.
2. Get SKSE for that version.
3. Get Address Library for that version.
4. Get SL Framework for that version.

If you get the wrong file in any of the previous steps it won't work. Saying "latest skse and address extensions" isn't much because you need to make sure they match the version of your game. Using the latest files uploaded for those mods isn't a guarantee match for your game. Also verify no other mods are providing the same files (like old installs of SL or other mods containing obsolete Papyrus Util versions such as Campfire).
