anjenthedog Posted February 13, 2025 Posted February 13, 2025 (edited) I chose to install 1.6.1170's "infrastructure" prior to fiddling with player/NPC alterations. I'm now at the point where I can start the NPC/player/body/hair/etc process. I installed bodyslide, set it to the correct location, and then opened it. Both the body/outfit and preset dropdown selectors are unpopulated. This makes sense, right? (since I haven't installed body type, presets, or any clothing/armor). Or... is that telling me I didn't do something right? I Just need a quick sanity check before adding anything further. I'd prefer not to have to go back and "fix" stuff if at all possible, and it's been six years since I had to worry about a "new" installation, so my memory is failing me. thanks Edited February 13, 2025 by anjenthedog title edited for posterior's sake ;)
traison Posted February 13, 2025 Posted February 13, 2025 BodySlide version 5.6.0 comes with empty SliderPresets, SliderGroups and ShapeData directories. So yes, there's nothing to display in the comboboxes at the top. 1
traison Posted February 13, 2025 Posted February 13, 2025 Put this in an xml file and save it in CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderGroups: <SliderGroups> <Group name="Test"> </Group> </SliderGroups> Then open BodySlide and make sure you can find the filter group. With this you can quickly test to make sure your paths are set up correctly. If it doesn't show, the BS is looking for its things in the wrong directories. 1

Once I read your confirmation, I went ahead and installed 3BA, and it dropped some content into place in Bodyslide, but that xml blurb is a very good idea for checking a new install. Saved for future use. Thanks.
