I have been using this "Dwemer Cuirass" for a while now - I have also included it in my blog story

This "Dwemer Cuirass" was originally created by this mod author ... he was inspired by the mod "capture dreams"

It was then ported to Skyrim SE - you can find one on "arca.live" among others.

 

Generally, all mods have one crucial disadvantage for a player who actually wants to complete quests -> the "suit" has only minimal self-protection, making it completely inadequate as armor.

 

The mod author I linked to in the previous post then came up with a solution - the suit is now real armor.

 

The fact that the mod author of "Devious Curses" now writes that he gets the meshes from that very "armor mod" is a bit odd in my opinion - because ultimately, everything is based on the original work of @MaikCG

I can't say when the suit was integrated into the DD mod.

 

This is just additional background information... I can currently create UBE meshes for a "cuirass" in Bodyslide, but I can only find variants in the game that are invisible to my character (UBE-Nord).

What's interesting, however, is that when I put on the headpiece, the mouth opens (toggle function)... which makes the whole thing even more confusing.

 

Am I understanding this correctly -> the UBE conversion is supposed to rework the "normal cuirass" for DD equipment ("I don't use Devious Curses") and not the "Inox Mecha Suit"?

 

Edit:

For "DD-Equip," switching to UBE works for all equipment—except for the special Dwemer cuirass.

The mod with the "Dwemer Suit Bodyslide Files" is probably intended for this purpose—but it only contains the data for "Devious Curses."

While it is not a devious device mod, is it possible to have a patch for the skyrim chain beast ?

Ask and sometimes you shall receive. A very quick and but shouldn't be too dirty conversion. let me know if it works well for you in game (I don't have time to test it too much but it seems to be working well enough). If all works well I will make a dedicated page for it. must build in bodyslide. cheers :)

Hi, I have run into a problem that I can't seem to solve on my own.

I run into these errors in ArmoryDataManipulator:
Line empty
Success parse line:

This continues for what seem to be every devious device. The devices in game are invisible, but the animations play as they should.

Daamn this is a high effort conversion. Zero issues and everything warps perfectly with the body. Great job

Im not sure what you mean by install from proton? are you using a mod manager?

That said, install process would be about the same as any other mod, ZIP file is structured to start from the Data directory. Load this mod after the non-UBE modsimage.png.e6df0677aec0f080cdf6072263e79e6d.png

its included in the main file. `STEP 1 - Required Files` then Download files listed as Required. Im not sure how much simpler I can explain this one.

Do you have a recommendation? frankly I am not wanting to deal with storing files in multiple places, or pay for other storage. I use proton as I already pay for an account, I have a lot of storage with it, and I trust it.

General update for anyone who is listening, I figured out how to use skypatcher to do the same thing ADM was, Nothing wrong with ADM, but Im thinking it will lower the barrier for folks to use this mod and skypatcher is becoming normal in most load orders

in short, I am going to start converting my patches to use Skypatcher instead of ADM. conversion is easy, so should have something in a day or so, of not, by the weekend.

If anyone was experiencing CTDs when removing the zipsuit heels, please download the hotfix added to the required files, and rebuild them in bodyslide. apologies if you were impacted.

Hello, I would like to request a conversion of this mod, it's the only thing that keeps me from moving to UBE 


The fact that you can customize this version of the devious cuiras is the reason why I have to use 3ba

I'm very grateful for the mods and patches, but unfortunately I can't get the dd Wicked Devices gag to work. After I start Alternate Deviant Perspective, my MC (with Ube Body) has the gag equipped, but it's invisible (and so is the facial animation with the open mouth).
If I change to another race with BHUNP, for example, the Wicked Devices works normally.
Is another patch for Wicked Devices also needed? or is something I installed incorrectly or is missing? I installed all the mod requirements.

Devious Wicked Devices @hxjaid78 - As far as I can tell the only thing this mod needed was a slot change for its leg cuffs, I don't see anything wrong with the gags. make sure your DD and DDNG patches are installed correctly

Updated Devious Curses Patch - updated for versions 8.x
