Z0mBieP00Nani Posted February 1 Posted February 1 I know it is related to shadows. I'm using Oblivion Reloaded and an ENB, if that helps, I'm also using Blockhead and OCO Advanced. All Characters look like this. Don't worry about the black ground section in the background, I fixed that already.
fejeena Posted February 1 Posted February 1 (edited) You should know which mod is causing this. Especially with such mods you test after each installed mod what the mod changes in the game. ... and make settings until you like it. If you install everything at once, you don't know which mod will cause which changes and which mod you have to change to get your desired result. This is what happens when you want everything at once and immediately and don't test new mods. I do not use Oblivion Reloaded, ENB and OCO. I use Blockhead, but blockhead does not change anything. Mods use blockhead do do nif and textures changes, it's a tool like OBSE for script commands. So delete the mods that change races, NPCs and player , test vanilla game if it is ok, then install again but only one Mod and test. And so on. EDIT: And have you tested your game with a new game? Not an old save and not a place where you have been before. When a mod changes the body color (you know the color sliders in character creation for NPC and player), in the game only the head has the new color, the body keeps the old color. Sometimes the problem resolves itself after you leave the location/NPC, save a few times and then meet the NPC again. But better start a new game. Edited February 1 by fejeena

I was able to fix this after making this post by getting rid of Oblivion Reloaded. Not a big loss in my opinion. That and installing a mod called ShadeMe Enhanced, to improve shading in the game, now everything looks good (minus some neck seams, but I can deal with that versus the other issue) except for Redguards, they seem to be going "black face" for some reason, further research on that has led me to believe that they are just borked, unfortunately. Unless you know something I don't. EDIT: I just realized how that last line sounded, however I didn't mean it that way. Edited February 2 by Z0mBieP00Nani
fejeena Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I think it is OCO2 . I once unpacked it and know the Redguards use a own texture. I vanilla game most races use the imperial texture ( Nord, Bretone, Redguard, High- and Wood elf ) Maybe install OCO2 again and let it overwrite whatever it wants. You have SkyBSA installed? NEVER your game in C : / program files !!!! OBSE and OBSE plugins (Blockhead. SkyBSA) therefore often do not work properly. If you don't need a xOBSE version use OBSE21 . I have no Mod that needs xOBSE so I still have OBSE21. And OCO2 does not need x OBSE. If you need xOBSE use 22.9. 22.10 had bugs and not sure if 22.11 is bug-free. And of course start a new game to test.
