Anyone else having this problem? The creatures stand in place while the one being ****ed is doing their animation.

Yup just posted this on the Bestiality Animations pack: I have the same issue you do.

I'm pretty sure that their are a few bugs with the new updated sexlab 1.30 and/or 1.31. Also must be some type of error with the new creatures FNIS 4.1.1. I rolled back some of the esp files and mods back to before the error but now I get a FNIS error that Creature animations are not installed. BUT it is installed and it shows up in the MCM menu. So I'm not sure what to do other than not use those animations for the time being... Please if someone has  work around or answer I'm all ears.

Thanks.

Edit: Okay so I re-updated to FNIS 4.1.1 creatures and I don't have the error in FNIS anymore But I still do have the "T pose" for the creatures. It's got to be the update from SexLab 1.30 and/or 1.31. Hope a fix is in the works. I'm pretty confident its not an error on my end of things.

Edit: Well something else is going on now because I started playing a different save with the same mods and settings and I have the animations working, they are NOT in a "T pose" but they (the animations) are not aligned. I think it's because I used SexLab 1.24 before the update to 1.30 and it might have kept some of the scripts or settings from the previous versions.  I'm guessing its a mix up with the new SexLab 1.30 or 1.31 updates and not aligning the animations with an older Bestiality Animation pack?  I'm also wondering but I don't think it might be an issue but I wonder if SexLab Defeat 4.2.1 might have something to do with it?

Oh and yes I did run FNIS.

For me, Only Wolf and fox stay stil. I undo the creatures in fnis, update the fnis with the creature pack and update the fnis behavior. After maybe 5 or 6 times, all the creatures move again.

Sorry for my bad english

So far the draugr are the only creature standing still, wolf, spider, and a few others seem to be working, but they do not line up at all.

FNIS Creatures 4.1 = Fix falmer and draugr standard animation glitches...

Updating the Fnis And the creature pack are maybe the solution. For me, that's work for the Fox and the Wolf. So maybe that's work also for you.

My post says that I am running 4.1.1 the latest update. However for some reason today once I triggered other animations (which played fine) - the draugr animation which I was having issues with is now working. No sure what is going on but I think the latest release of FNIS combined with the updated SexLab 1.30 and 1.31 their seems to be an issue with animations and alignments. I think the only thing we can do is wait until a fix/update is made available.

I found in another thread where someone was talking about FNIS not updating all the animations. I checked my log and sure enough mine was not being uploaded all the way. I reran FNIS several times, checking the log each time till finally in the log it showed the animations being run. Hopefully this will fix the problem.

well darn no that didn't work. I ran outside found a wolf and submited real quick to see and the animation still wouldn't work. I have no clue why this is not working.

If you're having problems with creatures staying still, then download FNIS Creatures 4.0, NOT the 4.1 version which is currently on Nexus. The 4.1 version seems not to add some essential behavior files.

You can find FNIS Creatures 4.0 here: http://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/urFJTBiVoip41AEFyNdytw , it's the second link. Copy all the files to data, then run GenerateFNISforUsers and go in game to check if the creatures' animations are working.

Well I found out what my problem was. When i updated FNIS last time from 4.02 to 4.1.1 main file, it put the main file in a different folder on NMM. So I keep deactivating and activating the same old version of FNIS main file which the new creature file does not work with. After someone pointed this out to me on another thread. I went checking and sure enough found FNIS 4.1.1 file in unassigned instead of under animations. Once I deactivated the old one and then activated that one and then activated the latest creature pack it has worked fine.

Just a FYI incase anyone else is blind like I am and have that problem.

What nonsense. Sorry for being that blunt, but I really get angry about posts like that. And you did this not only once here.

FNIS Behaviors 4.1 and FNIS Creatures 4.1 where made to reduce the number of load game CTDs. This includes a new structrue of the files FNIS is generating, and has nothing to do with what you describe as

The 4.1 version seems not to add some essential behavior files

And there is a reason why I remove outdated and incompatible FNIS versions from Nexus. And I hate it when people make (illegal) uploads of outdated and incompatible FNIS versions. Because it makes trouble shooting even harder for people really have knowledge to do that.

I am terribly sorry if i said something completely mistaken or offended you in any way. But i remember all those hours i wasted looked into every single possible issue when the animations of the creatures did not work. One of the mods said FNIS Creatures 4.1 was required, so i went to Nexus and downloaded the one under Optional Files. And that did absolutely nothing other than add a file to the animals' behaviors' folders.

When someone here uploaded FNIS Creatures 4.0 i thought i'd give it a try, since nothing else worked for me. And indeed, it worked. I don't know the purpose of every file, i am nothing close to a modder. But obviously, installing FNIS Creatures 4.1 from Nexus alone, won't make any animal animations work.

And again, i am sorry if i spewed my nonsense all over, but that's what i experienced and that's how i fixed it.

So peace then. I hope you can understand that I got upset after spending so many hours to get a "better" FNIS to you guys, and then have to read something like this.

FNIS Creatures 4.1 is now used for several mods here, and I haven't heard anything bad yet. And you can be sure, that Ashal and the others are on my back pretty quickly if there are problems. And I'm still standing straight. So it must be something with your installation.

I would think you have installed an incompatible mod AFTER you installed FNIS. Some modders have made the mistake to package parts of older FNIS versions with their mods (that's why I do everything to avoid elder versions). But if so, your problems should disappear with re-installing FNIS Behaviors 4.1.1 and Creatures 4.1, and re-generating. If not, complain at the mod that fails. With a detailed problem description, and at least the generator output. Or come to me to my Nexus FNIS comment thread.

Thank you for the information. I'll make sure to be further thorough around mod requirements and such to avoid such issues in the future. Have a great time and a happy new year!

I believe the problem lies with certain mods interactions with creatures.  Fore Instance Bestiality Rape will work for me, however SexLab Defeat or Matchmaker or what have you will not work for me for some reason.  I believe it's because these mods may have not been updated since FNIS's last update, but I have no real proof, just that one day they kind of worked and then they only worked for 1 mod.

Yeah, I am experiencing the exact same scenario with the exact same mods.

Well I re-installed SexLab Framework for what felt like the hundredth time and now everything works.  I'd try that first.

Yeah, I recently updated to Sexlab v1.35 and did a reset/clean install and resolved my issue (of course ran FNIS latest + creatures).

I had the same problem with Draugr animations - player is animated, draugr doesn't move. The problem persisted after installing the latest versions of all relevant mods, running FNIS tool etc.

It finally went away after I moved Defeat in the load order (it needs to be further down than SL Nude Creatures). Hope this helps someone.

yeah, been having same problem. To troubleshoot:

  • A quick revert to vanilla [uninstalled creation kit, enb, etc]
  • Install only necessary mods skse, skyUI etc.
  • Run FNIS through ModOrganizer
  • Review overwrite folder in MO
  • Start 'New' Game
  • Configure mods in MCM
  • Attempt to get animations working; some do work, others do not.

My guess, this is a problem residing with MO, FNIS and SL framework. Anyone "not" using MO having this issue?

note, have tried re-installing/downloading relevant mods several times.

Hi all,

My first time posting here, but I thought that I'd share my $0.02 on the matter.

I ran into the same problem and I finally fixed it.  The issue was that I somehow ended up with the FNIS Creatures 4.1.1, but FNIS Behaviour 4.0.2.  Installind FNIS Behaviour 4.1.1 fixed the issue for me.

Also, for those who are see issues persist after a fresh re-install (or new issues crop up), I ran into this issue too (albeit with Sexlab Aroused).  What fixed my post re-install issues was to delete the contents of my Skyrim folder, located under the "My Documents" folder.

As a bit of a disclaimer, I don't create mods, so I can't be seen as an authority on the subject.  So, if any experienced modders have better advice to give, then listen to them over me :)
