Go to your XXMI and go to the settings for GIMI, then in general there should be something called launch options. Make sure there is a check mark next to it and put this command in there. 

 

GenshinImpact.exe -platform_type CLOUD_THIRD_PARTY_PC

This made the game work for me after I was hit with the server disconnect in American servers.

 

Also, I haven't changed the GIMI version yet, but I heard if you get this issue even with the Launcher Option, you can try switching your version of GIMI which is shown in the link above. I haven't had to do that yet, but I heard you can just keep switching the version from 6-7 and it should work for a period of time until you need to switch again. Basically, just switch to 7 until its detected and then switch to 6. Then, when 6 is detected, go back to 7 and vice versa.

To add to this if you change the start option to "shell" that seems to help with certain characters, like Mavuika for me at least, freezing the screen when they Ult.

I had already posted this is a solution to the constant disconnects but seems it was only temporary. It still helps with Mavuika's Ultimate freezing the screen though.

Last two times it happened to me there was a simple solution. Go to Genshin in-game settings and turn off something called whatever adaptive rendering mode... It seems something changes it from time to time on my computer.

Change this from "native" to "shell".
Mine was already shell initially. Running native I got disconnected like 3 or 4 times within minutes of each other. Running shell I've had zero issues.
Hope this works for everyone else as well.
 

show all your settings then, the launcher, gimi and advanced ones, ima copy them to see if they work
