open xxmi launcher > setting > general > add -platform_type CLOUD_THIRD_PARTY_PC in the launch option

wrong info pelase make not half info for this.

Anyone who uses this must restart their PC once afterward for it to work properly. Unfortunately, there are people who constantly only provide half the information, while others are surprised when problems occur.

 

So that there are no misunderstandings

 

Insert the code above as described and restart the PC once. Done have fun

I got literally the same problem few days ago, it was telling me something about cheat software, "never use it here" not genshin, i was trying some thing, and deleted mods like avatars and UI, i make XXMI close on launch, and error dissapeared, 3 days now without it

 

Edit: Nwm, justt got it again, and message says illegal tool detected

I started getting it on EU server, and it was happening consistently for a whole day, every couple of minutes I would be logged out, and was directed to some unusual log in pop-ups, which was scary. I inquired in the discord modding community and there was no safe solution to it. They said that fiddling with preferences has got some people banned, and that best thing would be to stay away from mods for a couple of weeks and see how things developed. I turned off mods, but next day I just gave it a try, and nothing happened, and hasn't happened ever since either on EU or America servers.

I'm EU too, got this pop-up every couple minutes, so played without mods for about 3 days, then try it again, and everything was working for 2 days, until today pop-up shows up again, guess we need to wait, either for fix, or when devs stopped hunting cheaters

on EU, i disconnect internet then open XXMI, run Genshin from there (GIMI), wait for Genshin to open & XXMI to finish -> only then enable internet and reconnect ingame.

 

you should not get any error.
