I saw Rise of the Ronin is now on Nexus Mods, it also have the"fdata_dump",  a tool used to extract/dump files from Koei Tecmo games fdata archive format.

Maybe it's now possible to edit the meshes for the game ^^

He really is; because he makes me want to play games I'd normally not wanna play, but who can say no to nude mods as a motivator. And sometimes those games turn out to be more fun or better than expected!

Runs fine for me, 120fps+, maxed settings, no stuttering (except in the city, specifically the Hancho district).

It runs fine on 4080, but there is an annoying light bug, everything starts getting too bright and off again and again and it's noticeable specially at night

Honestly it does require optimization especially with the settings.  I found it does run better than Monster Hunter Wilds though.  I'm running it maxed out at 4k with everything on except the typical you remove like DOF/Vignette/chromatic aberration.  The default settings for sure need tweaks.  I wouldn't even bother with raytracing, if you want above 100 fps.

I haven't tested HDR yet, which might impact the brightness.  Some games that have the brightness settings where you match a pic is kinda wrong most of the time.

Yea I'm running a 4080 as well.  But when I was tracking fps, no real dips in combat which is a very big plus.  Which was the opposite with Wilds.

I have thought about checking the dlss version, since you can use dlss swapper to bring it up to the newer versions.  That helped a ton in wilds, so might try and see how big of a gain it is for Ronin.

It mostly runs fine for me, but the game will literally freeze up yet the audio keeps running its not a crash its like a persistent frame from a frame drop then it unfreezes, happens on both windows and linux but is worse on linux. on both a 4090, and a 5090, although i havent played it on a linux with a 4090,

run bad on most pc along with my rtx 3070 i'm playing on 1080p with dlss balance no ray tracing maximum setting run from 45 to 60 fps but in the city the game RUN LIKE BULL SHIT CRAP  stutter like hell using the cpu at max AGAIN UNOPTIMIZED GAME but team ninja and koei tecmo no surprise.

That's really odd.  I'm not sure what drivers you are running, but I'm running 572.60 which is not even the newest drivers.  I also removed Nvidia app, because that was causing issues for me in Wilds.  If you want I can take a clip of my game running maxed out at 4k so you can see the fps.  I'm also on Win 10 22H2, so not sure if its a Win 11 issue.

You should easily be getting better performance than me, since I'm just running a 4080 super with 5900x.

Side note, has anyone tried the tools from Nioh 2 to see if it works the same with Ronin?  I'll see if I can dig up the tools and give it a shot.
